This is my first read from this author and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit of a slow start for me but it ended up being a cute story.

Cash came crashing into Marinas life unexpectedly and there was an instant attraction between them but also instant animosity as well. Cash is known as the bad boy player of the racing world and Marina is known as the good girl actress, also part owner of the Westcott racing that Cash races for. 

After their rocky start, Marina calls Cash out of desperation and things begin to blossom between them. I really enjoyed their banter and was rooting for their HEA the more I read.

I was so excited to jump back into this world and I loved these two so much!!!

Finn is a known womanizer, one and done type of guy... until Josslyn.
One night changed everything for him.

He couldn't get her out of his mind even though he knew he would never be back in Fairview permanently. Although Finn said he would never return to Fairview, he finds himself singing to a hockey team there after a tragedy happened one night to his sister Mal and is determined to find out what happened. 

Everyone loves Josslyn. She us is upbeat and happy all the time. She has guilty over what happened that night with her best friend Mal and is determined to find out what really happened. After awhile, Finn and Josslyn begin to work together to uncover the secrets that Mal were hiding and find out what happened that night. Along the way things begin to develop between them and it gets HOT 🔥

Watching Finn begin to unravel and become obsessed with Josslyn was the tipping point in their relationship and from there, their bond got stronger. I loved how open they were with each other no matter if it hurt and the trust between them was incredible. 

There was mystery, spice 🔥, drama, tension, twist and turns that will leave you hooked all the way up to the vey end!!

I really enjoyed these two. The pain, the tragedy, the healing, the love, the growth was incredible. 

My heart broke for these two. It really did. The things they both went through was horrible. They both helped each other heal and become the better versions of themselves.

Blaise has been through it in her short time on earth and she is such a strong bada** women as the outcome. 

Desmond is a walking, talking red flag but I think Blaise summed it up perfectly "I see his red flags and think, Yay, a carnival." While he is truly unhinged he really does care for Blaise in his own twisted way. He does not ask, he takes 🫠

There was so much going on but I loved every bit of it. Seeing Desmond grovel and become the man that Blaise needed towards the end was the icing on the cake for his redemption. Also his little present at the very end for Blaise was just what she needed to finally have her freedom after so long.

much like the first story, I just could not get into this. 

while I liked the characters separately, together they just seemed forced. 

Over the time that they roomed together I would get increasingly annoyed with Danny. The way these two acted as well when everything shifted was ridiculous in my opinion.

My heart broke for these beautiful broken boys 😭 

Following his dream to attend a Colorado Uni for football, Cruz finds himself rooming with the prickly Liam. They really are opposites, Cruz being happy and sunshine all the time while Liam has a chip on his shoulder and broody all the time. Despite all that they begin to form a really close friendship, I mean really close with Cruz give Liam a "helping hand" when he breaks his arm 😏

Things begin to heat up and Cruz finally begins to learn new things about himself. I loved the way that Liam was there for Cruz and never pushed him past what he was comfortable with. 

These guys really helped each other heal in ways they didn't know they needed. Their story was emotional with both having experienced loss and the grief afterwards. 

I really enjoyed this story, the side characters were amazing, the communication was incredible and the vulnerability of these two will have you in the feels. I can't wait for more in the series.

OMG I loved these two so much!!! I think Teddy and Kipp are my favorite couple of the series. 

Kipp was an absolute mess but in the most adorable way. His rambling was hilarious at times. He was hilarious and their banter was everything 

Teddy was hesitant at first but once he finally gave in to Kipp, it was amazing. 

They both have some things they are trying to protect each other from, Kipp with his family and Teddy with his ex. The way they communicated was awesome. These two had an amazing connection and we're the absolute sweetest. 

I have some feelings about this book and just couldn't get past miles behavior to really enjoy it. 

Zye is a wedding planner for Cher. Miles is Chers best and there as the "dude of honor". 

Miles and Cher have a weird dynamic to me. I get the whole bestie thing but it was just to much for me at times. Miles behavior the majority of the book was a major ick for me. The way that he was trying to sabotage the wedding instead of just talking to cher, I mean they were supposed to be besties right 🥴

Rainn, the groom knows both Zye and Miles but for different reason. I will say about that whole situation the way that miles acted and completely ignored the fact that he could be bi and not just gay because they slept together was a bit disgusting to me. And the whole misnaming Zee/Zye was a major ick.

This is the third and final book in the Mr. Taboo series and we finally get more on Charlize and ex- step daddy dearest Alistair. 

Charlize finds herself down on her luck and low on cash. While bartending she is approached to become a high end escort. After weighing the pro's and con's she decides to give it a go. Her first (and only) service is for Mr. D for his birthday.

Things heat up quick and Charlize soon realizes it is her ex-step dad that she hasn't seen in almost two decades. Does that stop her?? No... but it stopped for Alistair as soon as he knew who it was. 

Things are touch and go there for awhile, especially for Alistair since he can't get over the whole step daughter and age gap. Charlize finally breaks down his walls and the come to an agreement of sorts.

I really enjoyed Charlize and Alistair apart but I loved them together even more. They both compliment each other really well and they have amazing chemistry!

These two honestly had the funniest meet cute I have read in awhile. The squirrel, the screaming, I was cracking up the whole time.

Lizzy and Brodie have been neighbors for awhile, while both attending the same college. They have avoided each other for some reason until the squirrel fiasco. At that point, it was Lizzy's mission to get to know the broody Brodie and break down his walls. 

There's a bit of stalkerish behavior from Lizzy and I loved that for her. She watches for Brodie so she can run into him and find an excuse to hang out with each other. Brodie slowly starts to open up and things go from friends to something more. This whole book spans over about a weeks time so it's fast paced on the timeline but slow on plot... If that makes sense 🤣 
 
My biggest ick was that these people were mid 20's, Brodie about to graduate college and they were so immature. I understand immaturity, I'm immature as they come sometimes, but the monologue and inner monologue seemed to be coming from a middle/high school kid instead of a grown adult, it was just cringy for me.
