What an emotional second chance read. 

My heart broke for both of these guys alot throughout the book. 

Aven comes from money and has a solid family presence. Chase doesn't really have money like that and the only family has had id his sister. That doesn't stop them from falling in love in high school until chase hears what avens family really things of him. He leaves and ends up touring with a band. 

Five years later and chase is back in town to win aven back. Their HEA was definitely a journey but i was so happy when they finally talked and worked things out. 

This was a cute read. I really loved the love, support and found family that was such a strong presence throughout the book. 

Alex seems to be down on his luck after his car broke down and his apartment flooded. He has to do the thing he has done several times, pick up his life and start new. In comes Jaxon to the rescue. Alex has had a crush on his for awhile and now living with him may have some issues with trying to keep his feelings in check. 

Jaxon has secretly been attached to Alex but has always felt like the age difference was a major point in their relationship. Having Alex live with him his walls slowly started crumble and found himself giving in to the temptation. 

I really enjoyed watching these two give in to each other.  Even when times were tough Alex was always so bright and happy. He cracked me up at times. I loved how Jaxon was there for Alex through everything and made sure he knows how much he was loved and supported. 

I can't wait for more on Jasper next! 

I wanna start by saying that this is NOT a standalone and The Wallflower must be read first. Now with that out of the way HOLY COW!!!!!! what a doozy of a read. I am still trying to figure out what to do now that I finished this and don't have the next book. 

This picks up right where The Wallflower ended, it takes off from there and is full force until the end of the book.There is so much going on and so much to talk about but I really really don't want to give anything away and spoil it for other. 

I really love Bel. She really went through it in the beginning but as the story goes on you see her becoming stronger and really becoming her own person. 

Drew is a straight up jerk but I really really like him. He is definitely morally gray through and through but his heart really is in the right place when it comes to Bel.

This book has soooooo many twist and turns and will leave you so many more questions going into the next book in the series. Trust me though, its completely worth it!!

Mason became an overnight billionaire from NFT work, he was picked to be in the spread of Forbes and is set up to have his pictures taken. During the shoot he meets Bowie, his photographer. Bowie is bitter and angry with the world but seems to calm down once he realizes how awaked and out of his element Mason is. Mason finds himself attracted to Bowie, a man, for the first time and now he's questioning everything. 

Watching Mason come to terms with who he is, is quite the journey with Bowie leading the charge of the "experience". Mason is nothing how Bowie was expecting him to be, he is kind, humble, awkward at times but loves deeply. Seeing Mason for how he really is Bowie slowly lets his walks down and begins to let Mason in. 

There were times where I wanted to shake some sense into Bowie while reading at how hard headed he was being. These two definitely have to work for their happiness. While it may have been bumpy getting to their HEA, these two truly deserved all the happiness they found with each other.

I have loved everything Santana has written so far but I will be honest, I was a bit skeptical about this book. I am so glad that I read it, I really enjoyed it and she did not disappoint.

This is by far not a romance in any way but don't let that deter you from reading this. This is about healing after tragedy, coming to terms with one self and so much more. The characters were amazing, the issues were addressed really well and the tension was everything!!

Nia and the issues with her mom as well as how she see's herself, was extremely relatable for me. Harvey had some issues as well but she was so loving and caring to Nia. 

ummm that ending, excuse me?!?!?!?!?!?!  WHHHHHHAAAATTTTT!!!!!!!! mind is officially blown and im still struggling to come to terms with it and I need that second book now!

Declan has been protecting and saving Nikita for over a year and now that she is threatened to be sent away he steps up and offers to marry her. Things definitely didn't go to plan at first, he pushes her away and continues to keep her in isolation and she maintains being the ice princess.

I loved watching their relationship develop and transform the way it did. The way he was there for her and was constantly reassuring her that she was safe and loved made me so happy that she finally got what she deserved.

There is so much with this book, mafias, action, suspense (I was not prepared for that shocker!!!!), love and healing. Can't wait for the next in the series.

Omg I absolutely love this series. It just gets better and better, I instantly fell in love with Dalton!!

Dalton is a known playboy until the moment he meets Dia. He knows he found the one in Dia and he's made it his mission to make her his and to keep her.  He comes up with a crazy plan to give Dia the full Vegas experience and get married and get it annulled the next day. Things don't go as plan and now they're stuck married. 

I loved Dalton so much. He was so sweet, caring and wanted to prove to Dia that she was deserving to be loved and was in fact, wife material. He is completely obsessed but in the best way possible. He was patient with her but still pushed her to open up to him oh and lets not forget the bossy side of him and the mouth in him 😮‍💨🥵

Dia had a rough childhood and brought it into adulthood. With the thought that everyone she lets in just hurts her she keeps everyone at arms length besides Mads and her family. She is constantly pushing Dalton away with the fear that if she opens her heart to him, he will crush it and will be let down again. 

The found family, love and support she has found and deserves is so overwhelming. These two are absolutely perfect for each other. They really do have such a great connection and they banter is top notch!

I love this series so much and can't wait for more! I'm not sure if anyone else can top Dalton though 🤷🏽‍♀️

This was an emotional second chance cowboy read. It will pull at your heartstrings and have you falling in love with Porter and Bishop.

Porter has a lot of anger toward the Sullivan's from a decades old issue between great-grandparents. That anger doesn't stop his heart from falling in love with Bishop Sullivan. After the passing on his mom he runs to Bishop for comfort, but after witnessing something that destroys him, he runs away. Runs from Bishop, runs from Laurel Springs for seven long years. Once back in Laurel Springs, he finds himself draw back to the Sullivan Ranch and all of his feelings for Bishop come crashing through the surface. 

I really loved watching these two navigate the past while also trying to come to terms with the hurt, pain and loss they both experienced all those years ago. These two have such a special connection and relationship that I was rooting for them the entire time.

I love the added pages and more insight into the deliciousness that is Xavier. I loved being able to dive into his mind with this book and really fell in love with him even more.

Is Xavier unhinged?? yes! But behind the darkness, he does anything and everything for Marissa. That man will do anything and everything to get and to keep his girl. 

I can see myself in Marissa a little bit. The way that she puts her feelings on the back burner to everyone else. She has a lot of trauma but that has shaped her into the woman that she is today. 

Definitely make sure to check those trigger warnings.

while the premise of the story was intriguing, I felt that it lacked greatly. the characters were a bit boring to me and I felt the whole mystery behind the time traveling could have definitely been expanded a bit on to get the gull grasp of it.
