These Voss brothers are something else π€€
I was gripped from the beginning with this retelling of Rapunzel. There was spice, suspense, broody hot men and so much more. The twist and turns this book took you will have you turning the pages to find out what happens next!
Kol has searched for Rapsody for years after she left him high and dry. He finally finds her, on her wedding day.. ..to another man. So what would any sane man do??? Stop the wedding of course, but in true Kol fashion, he stops it by kidnapping her, flying her thousands of miles away and holding her hostage in his mansion.
I honestly fell in love with both Kol and Rapsody instantly. They are so different from each other but together they are straight perfection. Kol has not had an easy life and you can see that in the way he thinks and his unhinged behavior at times. Rapsody has lived an extremely sheltered life and has never been able to do anything that she wants or what makes her happy.
They were both deceiving themselves when it all started, Kol with his revenge plan and Rapsody with the amount of freedom she had. Little by little they opened up to each other and ending up being end game after all. I loved watching these two fall back in love again. I loved how Rapsody grew into such a strong woman by the end of the book.
I can't wait to see what the other Voss brothers have in store with their books.
