I have been waiting for Nevada for a loooooong time and he did not disappoint. I think these NOLA men get better and better. 

Nevada is so much more than a pretty face. He's kind, compassionate, understand and the dirty mouth on that man 😮‍💨 He would do anything for the ones he loves and boy oh boy did he fall hard and fast for Star. That man would stop at nothing to ensure that she found her sister and that she knew how loved she is. 

Star has one thing in mind, find her sister at all costs. She was so determined that she didn't see the pretty boy, hard headed, stubborn Nevada come flying into her life and was determined to stay. I absolutely loved their banter, as much snark and backtalk that Star gave out, she got it back just as bad from Nevada.

Star was such a strong, independent FMC and I loved how Nevada didn't take that part away from her but encouraged her to remain true to herself. These two were perfect for each other. 

We were introduced to Kyle and I really really hope Manny gets a book with Kyle as the love interest!!! Ok but Riot and Halo 😍 That seems like such a perfect match and can't wait to read that next in the series.

OMG HOW CUTE!!!!! I absolutely devoured this cute, sweet fall vibes read. I loved everything about this. The setting, the plot, the characters, it was amazing!!

Zane finds himself back in Cozy Creek, angry with the world with the way that he was betrayed. he hopes a little mountain air will help heal certain parts that seem broken to him. He gets more than he bargained for when he can't seem to get the headstrong barista Autumn out of his head.

Autumn is so strong and feisty and the perfect match for Zane. I loved these two and their banter, their dynamics and their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS!!!! The divine intervention and the destiny for these two was years and years in the making and I am so happy that it played out the way it did for these two. The little moments they had together were they were both healing parts in each other was absolutely magical.

I loved seeing Easton and Lexi and soooooo happy to know we are getting more on Weston and Carlee as well as Nick and Julie in Lyra's Billionaire Situation series!! I can't wait 😍

I'm torn with this one. It had a really good plot idea but I felt like the execution just lacked for me. I feel like it was super rushed and nothing was ever really dived into like it should be. 

The letters were a nice touch buuuuut it just wasnt enough for me. I felt like it was thrown in for some reason. It added a sense of mystery but I felt like it wasn't really tired in really well with the whole story. 

this is a new to me author and I will for sure be reading more.

Indy and Salem were the absolute sweetest and I loved their relationship. They tried to deny it for so long and that they were only hooking up but they were oblivious to the fact that they were in a relationship. I loved that they both respected each other and never ever pushed the other to do anything they didn't want to do. Indy was Salem's safe space and he needed that after all the past hurt and trauma he has from previous relationships and guys. 

Also I absolutely LOVE that friend group. Their dynamic is phenomenal and I can't wait to read more from this world!!!

Ty has dreams of having his own bakery. He ends up going to Ray's Beanery (which made an appearance in the first book of the series) to see if his desserts can be sold there. He meets Leo and theres and instant attraction. These two spend more and more time together quickly becoming inseparable. One night while Ty is out checking out a location for a bakery, he stumbles upon Leo's extracurricular activities and from there its a whirlwind of adventure.

I really liked these two so much. Leo and Ty were perfect for each other. Ty finally came out of his shell and really embraced who he was deep down. Leo was soooo attentive. For Leo being a psychopath, he did anything and everything for Ty and to make sure Ty knew that he was wanted and cared for. 

I know this is the final in the series but I really hope to get more of all of these main characters, I really loved them so much!

Best friends since they were little, Kyle and Warren find themselves dumped before the beginning of summer. Warren has decided to fix up an old RV and take Kyle on a roadtrip along the Pacific, which has always been his dream. They make a Bro Pact, to forget about girls for the summer and enjoy their time together. 

They were so oblivious towards their feelings at first because of their incredible bond with their friendship. You could just feel their connection and how much they care for each other even before they began their exploration and diving into their deeper feelings.

I enjoyed the glimpses we got of their road trip stops and it was so detailed that at times it felt like I was there with them. Love that!! They were dreading going back home to reality and I was waiting for something to happen. My heart hurt for them with what happened but I'm so glad that it didn't last too long.

This was so cute!! I absolutely loved these two. Can't wait to see what's in store for this series!

I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. I had some reservations with it being mafia and a lot of times everything else gets lost in the violence of the mafia but this was so pleasantly evenly balanced with the mafia aspect and everything else.

Sparrow is on a revenge war path after his brother was brutally taken away from him. He ends up b breaking the nose of Xaviaro the first time they meet and as you can guess it the rest was history. Xaviaro became completely obsessed with him and their dynamic was absolutely HOT 😮‍💨 I was honestly expecting it to be the opposite but I loved seeing this bid bad mafia enforcer submit to Sparrow. They both opened up and were completely vulnerable with each other which was a nice aspect to their dynamic as well. 

I really enjoyed the side characters and can't wait to see what else this series has to offer.

I loved Tatum and the glimpses we got of him in previous books and how he would always terrorize Anthony with shameless flirting. I think I fell in love with him even more with this book. He is absolutely hilarious and give no f*cks, he is so sweet and kind to absolutely everyone. 

Anthony, Anthony, Anthony. I knew from the beginning that Tatum would break through his tough exterior and shatter the walls he put up years ago. Now don't get me wrong he still has a tough exterior when he needs to the mafia boss but when he is with Tatum or even thinking of him, he lets his emotions show. 

I loved the appearances of some of the previous characters from the Unexpected series. Ok but ummmm Luca, Viktor, Teddy and Bane, they made the story even better. I love how crazy and absolutely unhinged Bane is. The amount of so many amazingly unhinged and absolutely sexy side characters gives this series so much potential and I am here for it all!!!!

While it's been awhile since I've read previous books where the characters were introduced, I vaguely remember Gabriel and Grace. I was super excited for this one and with those tropes I was even more excited but I hate to say this and based off some of the other reviews, this is a completely me thing, but this story is not for me. Now I love TL Swan and her writing but something about this one did not jibe with me. 

Ive read a lot of stories with a similar plot that I enjoyed buuuut this one just didn't sit well with me. As I was reading there were multiple cringe worthy parts that were an ick for me and once I have multiple icks with a book, its hard for me to get past that and it was just sooooo long. 

Gabriel is supposedly secretly sooooo in love with Grace but sleeps around with so many other women 🥴 now I love a good alpha hole and the whole grovel and redemption aspect but Gabriel was not it. There was very little difference for me from the beginning to the end. and don't get me started on Grace, while I get that she was hurt and had a valid reason to leave and yada yada, why did it take so long and where was her growth?? also don't get me started on the whole timing and pacing thing, at times it was so hard to keep up, one page would be one timeline and the next will be years and years later with no notice or anything. 

this just wasn't for me

I'm super torn with this read. While on one hand it was super cute and sweet, the other hand it was extremely repetitive and predictable. 

The whole 3rd act drama was a bit predictable and I really don't like that nothing more came from it. It was just abruptly ended and that was that. 

There was not much cohesiveness to fully enjoy.
