Briar feels like a bit of pawn all her life, when she learns of a major secret, that is the catalyst to run away to Crimson Ridge in the search of answers. Crimson Ridge leads her to find not only herself as a person but right into the arms on Uncle Storm. 

There was so much in this book, tension, chemistry, angst, lessons learned, spice, OMG the mouth on that man, I was absolutely feral for Storm the entirety of the book. 😮‍💨

I was so happy that after everything Briar went through that she finally felt safe and felt that she finally belonged somewhere. 

This one is heavy on the spice that at times I felt it overshadowed the plot a bit buuuuuutt the spice was spicin and it was soooo good, 🥵 I ate this up. Can't wait for more in this series!!

I was so happy yet so heartbroken to read this. This is the last first time I will be in Copper Lake with these guys. I have been patiently waiting for Whit and Conrad's story from the first book with the edging we got about them. It's a bittersweet goodbye to the series but what a way to go out. These two were the perfect ending to the series to wrap it all up.

We got to see their past that lead to their fall out, the divorce, them getting back together and everything in between. This one was extremely more emotional than the others in the series but to give Conrad and Whit the story they deserved, I felt that it had to be.

Watching these two fall in love again and overcome their hurt from the past was a beautiful thing. Conrad knew what he had to do to be a better man for not only himself but for Whit as well. These two were end game, that's for sure.

Those epilogues where it gives so much of where all the couples are at 🥹😭 This series will forever live rent free in my head.

Dak and Sparrow are just amazing. They had their differences but after they had the first miscommunication they talked and continued to express themselves without fear, while also hearing the other person out fully before diving into more. 👏🏽 I really just love great communication.  And let's not mention the insane chemistry they had 😮‍💨

Watching these two grow as individuals as well as a couple was incredible. They touched on a lot of topics and it was all handled gracefully. They both welcomed each others best friends and they created their own little family unit. Also the way Sparrow immediately took to taking care of Edin and Mo, no questions asked, was absolutely beautiful. 

I absolutely loved the majority of the side characters, they were such loving kind people that added more depth to the story. Sometimes side characters feel like they're just added there to be there but these characters really added to the story! The only one I couldn't stand was Stephen, IYKYK, people like Stephen, do better, that's all I'm saying. 

This was a great start to the new series and I seriously can not wait for Edin's book next. After everything he has been through, I can't wait to see him in his healing journey and finally getting his HEA.

This was a good debut novel from the author. It was fast paced and I ate it up.

I have read a lot of books with a lot of tropes but shockingly i have not read a sugar baby. I found Emme to be super relatable and Ben was incredible! They had incredible banter and their chemistry was insane. 

I will say that while I love spice, like LLLOOOOOVEEEE, this one just felt like it was added just to take up space. I felt that it didnt have any impact to the story and at times it felt forced.

Zach and Carter have been best friends since they were six. They did everything together and spent every moment together that they could. Over the years Zach began to have stronger feelings for Carter but kept it to himself. 

These two stole my heart. I honestly loved their codependency, some reason it worked or them. They were both there for each other no matter what. Watching their friendship turn into something more was a beautiful thing. 

I really enjoyed the dynamics of the team and the found family from them. Everyone could see and knew these two were in love and end game, it just took Carter a little longer to figure it out. I was so happy when he did

I can't wait for Jackson next. I'm hoping he's coupled up with who I'm thinking!! I love this series!

Briar is such a strong single mom. You get bita a pieces of something traumatic happening to her in the past but when the whole thing comes out, my heart broke for her. She is extremely hesitant on trust, which is totally understandable, but the way that she slowly opened up with Forrest and began to trust him was so beautiful and healing for her. 

Forrest, ugh that man is perfection! He was patient he was kind, he was there for Briar in every way she needed. He took to River and Rayne instantly and always showed them nothing but love. Those moments where we got to see his interactions with them and their nicknames Razzle and Dazzle, my heart melted 🥹

I can't wait for Maddox next, I really hope the FMC is who I'm thinking.

Dom is a ruthless, heartless man who will do anything he can to make sure he succeeds. Weeeelllll not really. As we get to know Dom more we learn that it's all a facade, to protect himself. I really like Dom by the end of the book. 

Zain was such a likable character. I really loved watching him slowly break down Doms walls and make him into a better person. 

They were such a great couple.

Just like with previous books in this series, I ate it up. Completely devoured it.

This begins right where The Prey left off and its an intense ride from there. I love Seb and Elyse so much. They both have some pretty tragic past and trauma. What these two have endured is heartbreaking, it really is. 

What a wild ride. I wanted to scream, cry, hug them. I'm pretty sure I went through emotions possible while reading. Did not want it to end.
