Briar feels like a bit of pawn all her life, when she learns of a major secret, that is the catalyst to run away to Crimson Ridge in the search of answers. Crimson Ridge leads her to find not only herself as a person but right into the arms on Uncle Storm. 

There was so much in this book, tension, chemistry, angst, lessons learned, spice, OMG the mouth on that man, I was absolutely feral for Storm the entirety of the book. 😮‍💨

I was so happy that after everything Briar went through that she finally felt safe and felt that she finally belonged somewhere. 

This one is heavy on the spice that at times I felt it overshadowed the plot a bit buuuuuutt the spice was spicin and it was soooo good, 🥵 I ate this up. Can't wait for more in this series!!
