Cam is a feisty, quirky, adorable ray of sunshine who happens to be somewhat clumsy and scatterbrained. He’s also a puzzle expert and just what the village of Hortplatz and Micah needs. The attraction and chemistry between them is undeniable and it does get steamy but what I adored was the small ways Micah cares for and looks out for Cam. From ensuring he remembers to eat to constantly thwarting the “clumsy” moments it highlights how he’s so in tune with and sensitive to Cam and his needs
There’s minimal angst as they adapt to their fast paced romance, a bit of drama due to an outside source, plenty of moments that had me giggling and an ending that left me smiling. I’m looking forward to the next in the series as the secrets of the cave contents have me intrigued as does the next couple!

I absolutely loved this! ❤️
This is such a fantastic rom-com read. I was laughing and smiling throughout the whole book and it’s given me new meaning to “eggplant parma” which will make me giggle whenever I eat it.
Charlie is so oblivious and naïve, endearingly sweet and kind whilst also being overly generous towards his friends. This does cause some confusion, through miscommunication, when he finds himself supposedly dating three friends and he had no idea! He seeks assistance for his relationship issues and in steps Mr. Romance aka Liam.
Liam is a true romantic. He adores romance books and movies, loves romantic gestures both the big and the important small details. He also desperately wants his own HEA. He takes on Charlie as a client to teach him what not to do when it comes to his friends.
So begins a beautiful journey as these two wonderful men morph from client to friends, to friends with more and finally boyfriends. Along the way is some role playing, bittersweet moments with some of Charlie’s so called friends, a blanket fort and hilarious drunk Charlie moments. Not to forget the best side characters in Ian and Matt.
I loved every moment of this book and am smiling just thinking about it.

Bastian and Andras are once again in the fight for their lives as they protect themselves and others from the malevolent dark magic being wielded by the unknown “Hooded Man”. They also need to fight the elders of the Casters who’s machinations are on the brink of destroying not just the complex but all casters. All of this action and drama is complemented by the humour and all round ridiculousness of Andras which provides plenty of laugh out loud moments and also induces plenty of blushing by Bastian who is still so sweet and innocent. However Andras does have his serious side which comes to the fore whenever those he cares about are in danger. The relationship between Bastian and Andras continues to grow during all of this, helped along by Andras introducing Bastian to the wonders of bowling which had me snort laughing!
The many intriguing plot twists held my interest from start to finish and I was completely surprised when the identity of the villainous “Hooded Man” was revealed. We also get to learn more about the childhood Andras endured and that made his HEA with Bastian all the more sweeter. All the interesting side characters from book one are involved including the ever sleeping Soren who does wake in some very fortuitous moments.
I loved everything about this book, from the well developed characters and the world building, to the action and drama and the sweet and tender intimate moments. I cannot recommend it highly enough but please read book one first.

3.5 stars. Good start to the series. Easy enjoyable read with great main characters and a nice fated mates romance. More to come with the set up of the interesting side characters.
A beautiful collection of stories about starting a new life on a hobby farm in rural New Zealand. Masterfully captures the highs and lows of country living.
“Grand gestures don’t always have to be grand”
I doesn’t take much to turn Quinn into a babbling mess, just being around his crush Vance is enough. Luckily Quinn is an adorable flustered rambling mess who is easily embarrassed and can be a tad naive and clueless, especially when it comes to relationships. Vance is a pretty easygoing person and does have feelings towards Quinn but tries his best to maintain a professional relationship. He is totally oblivious to Quinn’s crush until he overhears a conversation and then the blinkers come off.
There’s numerous considerations to take into account before these two wonderful men embrace their feelings for each other but once they do the heat levels rise and there’s also many lighter, sweeter moments between them. Of course the members of the Queer Collective can’t help themselves and get up to their usual antics in providing any and all the assistance that they can!
This was a fun read that gave me plenty of laughs and the had me smiling at how perfect Quinn and Vance are for each other and how they show that to each other in different ways.

2.5 stars. Felt very rushed and needs to be fleshed out more eg) the club, the main characters jobs, etc.
