Cam is a feisty, quirky, adorable ray of sunshine who happens to be somewhat clumsy and scatterbrained. He’s also a puzzle expert and just what the village of Hortplatz and Micah needs. The attraction and chemistry between them is undeniable and it does get steamy but what I adored was the small ways Micah cares for and looks out for Cam. From ensuring he remembers to eat to constantly thwarting the “clumsy” moments it highlights how he’s so in tune with and sensitive to Cam and his needs

There’s minimal angst as they adapt to their fast paced romance, a bit of drama due to an outside source, plenty of moments that had me giggling and an ending that left me smiling. I’m looking forward to the next in the series as the secrets of the cave contents have me intrigued as does the next couple!
