I loved every moment of this delightfully sassy and engaging friends to lovers age gap romance which has all the hallmarks of a Lily Morton book.

Pip is so vibrant and energetic yet sensitive and tactful. He’s also fearless, funny and full of sass and the perfect compliment to the self assured and outgoing Olivier who can be a touch naughty and very sarcastic. After a steam filled anonymous hook up circumstances bring them into each other’s orbit again 12 months later in the south of France. As they spend time together sharing a villa and exploring the countryside a friendship develops, which later morphs into a steamy summer fling with agreed upon boundaries.
There’s plenty of sizzling chemistry and steam between these two wonderful men as well as loads of sass and snark which left me laughing. Drama from a family member left me seething and whilst their HEA left me smiling, Pio and Olivier still managed to give me some feels along the way.

I loved visiting with some of the characters from book one and also enjoyed being introduced to the interesting cast of side characters. I can’t wait to see who gets their story told next.
