This is the first is a spin off series from the Chester Falls books and what a great start it is. Fletcher and Harrison have made appearances in CF previously and now we get their story told.
After a less than ideal initial first contact, Fletcher and Harrison do have a few hiccups to overcome before they get an HEA. The sizzling chemistry between them leads to lots of heated, steamy times even when those pesky hiccups keep popping up!
I love small town romances and Stillwater is no exception. There’s not only the two very likeable main characters but some very interesting and sometimes quirky townsfolk and two very adorable kids to keep things entertaining. I found this to be engaging from start to finish and a very easy and enjoyable read with just a dash of angst perfectly balanced by lighter moments.

Beautiful friends to lovers romance.
A very well crafted romance between Jean-Pierre, who is just full of sunshine and Jake who is beautifully dark grump. The ex NBA Star and the yoga instructor both volunteer at a gym for combat veterans. These wonderfully complex main characters have buckets of chemistry between them and once it sparks the heat level hits high.
So many feels to this that I couldn’t put it down. It’s hurt/comfort with light kink, a dash of drama, a great cast of side characters who provide some light relief and no angst. Roly, who provides the humour, is up next in the series and I can’t wait for his story.
Highly recommended. This is a standalone but I feel it adds more to the experience if you read the first book also.

This is wonderful original romance with two fun, loveable main characters. Alex is very witty and full of fun and has a “gift”. He endured a very dysfunctional childhood that had my heart hurting for him at times. Bishop is also witty and fun and is a very caring person. Even though his family is extremely wealthy his childhood was very lonely.
Circumstances had them crossing paths as teens and then unexpectedly reconnecting 13 years later. Setting them on a course that involves attempting to change the fate of many people, being embroiled in a mystery from the past, romancing each other with copious amounts of humour and sweetness before achieving a hard earned HEA.
I loved the originality of this well crafted and intriguing plot. That, with the strong main characters and interesting side characters kept me fully engaged and entertained from start to finish.

3.5 stars.
I really didn’t feel that the romance between the characters was explored enough. The story felt that it was mostly about TS and Raf, with not enough depth regarding Luke so I felt like I didn’t get the opportunity to really know him.

This is a wonderful grumpy/sunshine age gap romance with just the right amount of angst to balance it out nicely. Oliver and Joss are at different stages in their life and want different things but it doesn’t take them long to understand that given the right circumstances, once held goals and ambitions can change. I was invested in these two from the very beginning, laughing and crying with them on the way to their HEA. Yes, they did have a major hurdle to overcome but a grand gesture gets them back on track and left my heart happy for them.
There’s some great side characters, especially Gran, that kept me entertained and engaged and I’m looking forward to more in the series.

I adored every word of this very easy and enjoyable read. Circumstances bring Fergus and Davo together and they are perfect for each other finding their HEA amongst the red dirt and endless night skies. Their romance is filled with sweet, steam, skirts, the love of and for found family and a foul mouthed cockatoo. With the perfect balance of beautiful prose, humour and endearing characters I couldn’t put this book down.
