Beautiful friends to lovers romance.

A very well crafted romance between Jean-Pierre, who is just full of sunshine and Jake who is beautifully dark grump. The ex NBA Star and the yoga instructor both volunteer at a gym for combat veterans. These wonderfully complex main characters have buckets of chemistry between them and once it sparks the heat level hits high.
So many feels to this that I couldn’t put it down. It’s hurt/comfort with light kink, a dash of drama, a great cast of side characters who provide some light relief and no angst. Roly, who provides the humour, is up next in the series and I can’t wait for his story.
Highly recommended. This is a standalone but I feel it adds more to the experience if you read the first book also.
