This was such a great book that it had me hooked from the very start and ended up being a one sitting read.

Levity and Salvatore (Sal) are both strong multi layered characters who are supported by a interesting cast of side characters. One of whom really brings out the soft and gentle side of Sal whilst two other members of the Misfit Vagabonds highlight the strong protective streak in Levity.
When circumstances bring Levity and Salvatore into each other’s orbit on Welcome Boulevard, they soon find themselves in the fight of their lives. Even so, amongst all the action and drama, the chemistry between them starts to sizzle and spark, feelings are made known and the bumpy road to their well earned HEA begins.

This was a very enjoyable and engaging read with a great balance between the action and romance elements, a bit of angst when the baddies do bad things and some sweet mixed in with the steam. Highly recommended and I look forward to more in the series.

Circumstances have Aslan and Quaid back working a homicide case together. A case which hits very close to home for Quaid which uncovers secrets that feed into his insecurities and vulnerabilities.
These totally opposite men have not had any interaction for over a month but the chemistry and UST between them still sizzles and sparks which slowly builds to some much needed steamy stress relief for them both as the investigation progresses. An investigation which has numerous twists and turns before leading to an arrest that I did not see coming.

Aslan is still all outgoing and sunshine to Quaid’s stoic and grumpy which on occasion causes Quaid to stifle/hide his grin or even laugh out loud! It’s great to see him slowly lower his walls and for Aslan to finally realises he has feelings for Quaid beyond just the bedroom. They finally admit their feelings for each other, use the term “boyfriend” and go on a date. Not a HEA but very much a HFN.

This is an ‘un-put-downable’ book that had me hooked from the very start to the jaw dropping final line. A great cast of characters combined with an intriguing plot blended together beautifully by the story telling ability of this author makes for a remarkable read.

Enjoyable 3.75 stars.

Parker is such a grumpy grump and ends up on Mayberry Holm when his life implodes. Hwan is a bubbly, sweet, full of sunshine guy who has just opened his Bubble Tea store. Their first meeting certainly does leave an impression, good from Hwan’s viewpoint but not so much from Parker’s.
Circumstances have Parker assisting Hwan at the store where they finally get to know one another and find themselves enjoying each other’s company which does lead to some smexy times.

This enjoyable read includes Bubble tea flavours galore, references to the Golden Girls, a hint of suspense, a dash of angst and two main characters finding their place in the world and their HEA. We are also given a sneak peek at the main character for the next in the series.

I did feel at the beginning that I was missing some backstory and then realised that the novella Forever Asher is a prequel and sets up the series.

I really enjoyed this well written romance between Tyler and Daly.
Tyler is a quirky sassy vet who protects himself with humour. Daly is a friendly bakery owner who carries his own scars from the past.

They are both madly crushing on each other but don’t have the ability to talk, let alone act on it. After an hilarious faux pas from Tyler they start a friendship that very slowly grows into a very sweet and tender relationship. They spend the time getting to really know each other and as their layers are gently revealed the connection between them strengthens and culminates in a lengthy, sizzling and steamy encounter as they reach their HEA.

I really enjoyed this very engaging read. It’s well balanced with a bit of angst from circumstances outside the relationship, some hilarious dialogue and two very loveable main characters who are just perfect for each other.
