Julian and Parker have been best friends for 20 years and for a lot of that time Julian has had an unrequited crush on Parker. With Parker soon to be married Julian decides it’s time to let that crush go no matter how difficult that proves to be.
Circumstances result in an unmarried Parker and a still crushing Julian having to spend time together in Julian’s cabin in Aster Valley. So begins a journey of self discovery between these two wonderful characters as they navigate the complexities of their relationship changing from the best of friends to lovers. When that happens the heat between them certainly sparks some steamy moments and some beautifully tender intimate moments.
This is a very enjoyable and engaging read that includes some well meaning meddling friends, banter that made me chuckle at times and a HEA that left me feeling very happy.
4.5 stars. Well, this had a surprise or two!
This adventure has Ronan, Tennyson and the whole crew solving a case that involves 13 skeletons in a backyard. It’s all hands on deck researching and chasing down leads, especially when members of the group are targeted and lives are at risk.
This does differ from their usual cases. It certainly has a few unforeseen twists and turns before it’s successfully solved when the past, present and the future all come together allowing for a sense of normality to return to Tennyson and Ronan’s household.
I really enjoyed catching up with all these old friends and once again they kept me thoroughly entertained from start to finish as they solved this intriguing case.

Fluffy, low angst, drama free romance with lots of pranks between the two frat houses. Plenty of “dude-bro” behaviour that I felt wore a bit thin after a while but otherwise an enjoyable easy read with fun characters.

This is such a beautifully crafted book with smooth and seamless plot formation, perfect pacing and superb character development. Jay Hogan certainly has the ability to weave a wonderful story that grabs your heart from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until the very end.
The relationship that develops between the very likeable two main characters, Miller and Sandy, is very realistic with fun, laughter, sweet moments, heat filled moments, a bit of drama, miss steps and bumps along the way. Through it all Sandy remains true to himself and Miller emerges from a self imposed compartmentalised life of work and sport out into a life filled with colour. All aided by the fantastic cast of side characters including the couples from the previous books in the series.
Be prepared for some feels to come at you, from tugging at your heart strings to laughing out loud at some of the sassy dialogue.
If I could give this gem of a book more than 5 stars I would, it’s an absolute delight of a story that worked its way into my heart and makes me smile just thinking about it.

I love the Haven Hart series and it was so good to be once again immersed in this world and I was fully hooked from from start to finish. This instalment cannot be read as a standalone as you need to have all the background information provided in Secret Simon to understand why Rush and Simon are being targeted. And targeted they are! Lots of drama and action as the Manos family and their familiar allies come together to face and bring down another crime boss.
Even with all the shootings, kidnapping, plotting and planning, Simon and Rush still find ways to strengthen their relationship. Sometimes it’s in hot and steamy encounters and other times it sweet, tender and intimate. Their journey together may include blood and mayhem but they do come out the other side and get their well deserved HEA.
I found this to be a really enjoyable read with enough twists and turns to keep things interesting. The theme of love for family, in whatever form, once again plays a major role as does the consequences when that love is eroded. So much fun having the Haven Hart characters back together fighting for family.

Wonderful start to a new series.
This is a beautiful age gap romance between two very likeable characters - retired SEAL Cash and former child star Danny.
Circumstances bring them into each other’s orbit when Cash agrees to help out his best friend and be a bodyguard for Danny. Danny just also happens to be the younger brother of said best friend.
Forced proximity in a rustic mountain cabin lead to a journey of self discovery for Cash where he learns how to be the person he truly is, with plenty of help from Danny!
Their attraction to each other is undeniable and when the spark is lit the heat levels turn up resulting in plenty of steamy times combined with softer, tender moments.
This is a low angst read, from the romance itself to Cash embracing he’s authentic self. There’s also a dash of drama relating to the bodyguard element of the plot. I loved the way all the tropes are seamlessly blended and enjoyed this book from start to finish. I look forward to what’s in stall for the very interesting side characters!

Wonderful opposites attract romance.
This beautifully written story of Santi and Micah’s romance just resonated with me. These two very likeable main characters immediately settled into my heart and now refuse to leave.
Micah is a vet who has no self confidence which is mainly due to his body issues, likes to play it safe and is a virgin. Santi is a military vet and circumstances lead him back home to Chester Falls. He has also never been in a relationship but that’s because he’s a very confident, experienced player.
Their paths crossed earlier in life but reconnect due to Santi’s Great Dane. The chemistry between these two main characters is always bubbling away but it does take a few kisses before they finally get on track.
So begins a very enjoyable and engaging low angst, medium heat romance with only a bit of a misunderstanding before they get their HEA.
Characters from previous books in the series do pop in to make appearances but I believe the best side characters, that had me laughing and smiling, are the menagerie of pets that come into Santi’s life, courtesy of his dog!
