Wonderful start to a new series.

This is a beautiful age gap romance between two very likeable characters - retired SEAL Cash and former child star Danny.
Circumstances bring them into each other’s orbit when Cash agrees to help out his best friend and be a bodyguard for Danny. Danny just also happens to be the younger brother of said best friend.
Forced proximity in a rustic mountain cabin lead to a journey of self discovery for Cash where he learns how to be the person he truly is, with plenty of help from Danny!
Their attraction to each other is undeniable and when the spark is lit the heat levels turn up resulting in plenty of steamy times combined with softer, tender moments.

This is a low angst read, from the romance itself to Cash embracing he’s authentic self. There’s also a dash of drama relating to the bodyguard element of the plot. I loved the way all the tropes are seamlessly blended and enjoyed this book from start to finish. I look forward to what’s in stall for the very interesting side characters!
