This is a very sweet romance between two very likeable main characters.
Brandt and Kellan have known each other since childhood. When Brandt returns home to take up a new job he stays at Kellan’s house, with all intentions of getting a place of his own.
Their relationship slowly morphs into something more after they finally tell each other how they feel. So begins a very low angst, sweet romance with a little bit of heat thrown in. Most of the angst is framed around the toxic nature of Brandt’s step father and how it effects Brandt and his relationship with his mother.
This is a very easy and enjoyable read that made me smile and made my heart feel happy when Kellan and Brandt found their HEA.

Rating : 4.5 stars.

I have been looking forward to Asher’s story and was not disappointed.

What you see is not what you get with Asher. Circumstances lead Kole to being the Equipment Manager for the team. Kole, who dislikes hockey, no longer plays hockey but his Dad is the Hockey Coach, who is able to see the real Asher from the very start.

Asher comes across as an angry, closed off, fighting the world, self destructive jock when in reality he is really hurting and hasn’t come to terms with the grief of losing his father and stepmother. Kole is his safe place where he can be the sweet and kind man he is and not think about the person he should be. Kole encourages him to embrace who he is and as a result not only them but the hockey team benefit.

Along the way to their HEA is witty banter, sizzling chemistry, lots of steam, and lots of siblings requiring attention. Not to mention those away games where sharing a room gives them lots of time together.

This is a well crafted book and I loved the development of Asher’s character. It is a low angst, enjoyable and engaging read that left me smiling and feeling happy. The tiny glimpse of the next in the series leaves me waiting for more.

Carter and Rhys set up shop in my heart and refuse to leave. They are both likeable, down to earth characters with completely different upbringings who manage to make it to their HEA. To get there is not without some hurdles but nothing that can’t be overcome especially when they finally communicate! Once they get that sorted the chemistry between them ignites with steam and heat the expected result.
This well written plot is well balanced with a great cast of main and secondary characters, a bit of angst, a bit of humour and on point pacing that kept me turning the pages. I was very invested in Rhys and Carter’s story and very much look forward to the next in the series.

3.5 stars. Another quick and easy instalove read from this author. Enjoyable and low angst when a lion shifter meets his human mate in less then auspicious circumstances.

I really enjoyed the continuation of the overall story arc but the romance between Kenn and Warwick felt lacking. Too much time discussing their relationship with others and not enough of them actually talking and being together in the relationship. This just didn’t grab me and keep me engaged as the previous books in the series.
