Carter and Rhys set up shop in my heart and refuse to leave. They are both likeable, down to earth characters with completely different upbringings who manage to make it to their HEA. To get there is not without some hurdles but nothing that can’t be overcome especially when they finally communicate! Once they get that sorted the chemistry between them ignites with steam and heat the expected result.
This well written plot is well balanced with a great cast of main and secondary characters, a bit of angst, a bit of humour and on point pacing that kept me turning the pages. I was very invested in Rhys and Carter’s story and very much look forward to the next in the series.
