This is a fun, light, quick paranormal read with snark, witty dialogue and no angst.
Prince Owen is arrogant, selfish and spoiled whilst Grimm - his bodyguard - is kind, loyal and affectionate. Owin and Grimm are sent on a quest by the king so Owin can fulfil his destiny. Don’t expect a quest full of danger and drama. This is more “quest lite”.
I found this very enjoyable to read and look forward to more in this series.

I really enjoyed this well written take on the fated mates Omegaverse genre.
It’s not insta-love but a nice long slow burn instead.
Gregory is a selkie who is not your typical shifter alpha but is a gentle, marshmallow of a man. Daniel is a human omega who knows nothing about fated mates and is somewhat confused by the whole idea. Both of them are complex, likeable characters with their own insecurities that need to be overcome. Throw an interfering matchmaker of a mother who won’t give up easily into the mix and it makes for a bumpy road to their HEA. It takes a long time for them to act on their mutual chemistry but when they eventually do, the heat level rises accordingly.
A couple of the interesting side characters have set the scene for the next book in the series.
I found this to be an easy, enjoyable read, with some feels included, and I highly recommend it if fated mates/omegaverse is of interest to you.

This is another well written stand-alone from KM Neuhold.
A nerdy, awkward virgin and cocky, flirty player get their HEA.
Elijah is an inexperienced, clueless nerd who is very insecure and hates social situations as everyone makes him nervous and he worries about what to say or that he may do something stupid.
Pax is a confident, cocky, flirty player who doesn’t do relationships and happens to be the elder brother of Elijah’s best friend. He also happens to be a bit of a closet nerd who knows an awful lot about Star Wars. Elijah also had a childhood crush on him.
Pax and Elijah are really adorable and it was beautiful watching them thrive and grow together. Even if there’s a couple of bumps along the way.
Their story had me laughing, smiling at how gorgeous they are together and feeling so sad for things Elijah experienced in his past. Add in some steam and you have a truly wonderful book. The side characters were also a lot of fun and add another layer to the story. I do hope they get their stories told.
Yet another book by this author that I highly recommend.
Marcus, Finn and their colleagues in the Vampire Related Crimes Unit really have their work cut out for them in this second book of the series.
The overall story arc from book 1 continues with the unknown vampire tormenting and manipulating Finn. This makes for a suspenseful read with action, drama, humour, sarcasm and banter. Not forgetting the steamy scenes between Marcus and Finn.
I was completely taken by surprise when the identity of the unknown vampire was revealed - what a surprising twist in the tale.
There’s also some absolutely delightfully funny moments to balance the plot out. I highly recommend this book and believe it adds so much more to the experience if you read book 1 first.

3.5 stars
This is the authors MM debut and it makes for an enjoyable quick, easy read.
It’s about transformation, both inward and outward, and self acceptance.
Jack is one of the co owners of the gym and Andy takes advantage of a free trial to pump up his skinny body. Both likeable characters have their insecurities and baggage and this short book ends with them deciding to give their relationship a go. There’s no angst and some interesting side characters who will no doubt feature in the rest of the series.

Eden Finley has given us a wonderful beginning to this new series.
Harley was first introduced in the Fake Boyfriend series and he wasn’t the nicest of people. Here we discover the true depth of his character and what a character he is. Funny, likeable and misunderstood by many except for his new bodyguard Brix who has layers of his own. Lots of chemistry, plenty of steam, witty banter, drama and romance. And not to forget a great cast of interesting side characters.
I highly recommend this and I’m looking forward to more.

This is another fantastic book from Alice Winters. The witty banter between Clyde and Bradley had me in hysterics. I lost count of the number of laugh out loud moments. The chemistry between the two was amazing and of a high heat level! Add into this a very interesting plot and it makes for an amazing read.
