Marcus, Finn and their colleagues in the Vampire Related Crimes Unit really have their work cut out for them in this second book of the series.
The overall story arc from book 1 continues with the unknown vampire tormenting and manipulating Finn. This makes for a suspenseful read with action, drama, humour, sarcasm and banter. Not forgetting the steamy scenes between Marcus and Finn.
I was completely taken by surprise when the identity of the unknown vampire was revealed - what a surprising twist in the tale.
There’s also some absolutely delightfully funny moments to balance the plot out. I highly recommend this book and believe it adds so much more to the experience if you read book 1 first.
