Great start to a new series.
I really enjoyed this romance between Elijah, werewolf and a Mason who has psychic powers.
Mason moves to Kedgetown after inheriting a house. He immediately feels a sense of peace and connection. Elijah is visiting family, meets Mason and feels drawn to him. Together they endeavour to unlock the secrets of the past, the secrets of the house and the secrets of the bookshop.
I enjoyed the dual timeline and loved all the characters past and present and their sweet romances.
There’s some minor angst due to external issues but the romance in both timelines is very sweet and endearing. The interesting plot kept me fully engaged and as this book is part of a shared world I immediately downloaded the others. I was left smiling at the end with a very happy heart!

3.5 stars as I felt that this really should be read after the other connected series and not as a standalone.
Otherwise easy to read cozy mystery with low heat

Sweet insta love age gap romance. Quick and easy to read with lovely characters and Cooper the protective guide dog.

Cope, Jude and the Westside Magick crew are back with another murder investigation to solve.
At a time when all is going well in their world with no complicated cases, drama or people trying to hurt them or their found family, an Angel of Death is killing people at the local hospital. Due to a sports related injury Jude finds himself as a patient at there and a target of the killer. The best laid plans don’t always go as expected but with the help of Ronan, Kevin and the rest of the crew Jude makes it home to his family.
It’s always a joy reading a new book this universe and catching up with old friends. There’s an interesting plot, some drama along the way, a loopy Jude on pain medication that made me giggle and an ending that warmed my heart.

I adored the first book in this series and couldn’t wait for Clove and Marcel to get their story told.
I was not disappointed! Clove and Marcel are really interesting characters who had me fully invested from the start. Add in an intriguing plot, a good balance between the action and romance elements and with a nice mix of sweet with heat, it made for a very enjoyable and engaging read.
There’s no angst relationship wise but the bad people of the piece did cause some angst/drama, which was answered accordingly, and didn’t interfere with a well deserved HEA for Clove and Marcel.
A bit of a hint at the end regarding some side characters has me hoping for more in the Welcome Boulevard series.

Something about the Larkspur series just resonates with me and this second instalment is no exception. It probably has something to do with the well written characters that are Seth and Cal. Seth may hide behind a bad boy rockstar persona but he’s really kind, warm and funny whilst Cal is an adorable empath who cries at social media videos.
Circumstances bring these two wonderful men into each other’s orbit and even though there’s an instant attraction on both sides it’s not immediately acted upon. It takes some time, a bit of flirting, a kiss or two and a fake marriage before they act on the chemistry between them. Steam is mixed with sweet and before long there’s nothing fake about their relationship.
The wonderful characters and plot make this a very enjoyable and engaging read. It’s low angst with an HEA that warmed my heart and left me smiling. I look forward to the next in the series.
This can be read as a standalone but reading the first book would add to the experience.

This is a very enjoyable opposites attract low angst romance set on Palm Island during the off season.
Pete arrives on the island after a breakup so he can regroup and spend some time with his twin brother. He lives a very structured life and never really let’s go. Goose is an island resident who is very easy going and somewhat chaotic. Circumstances have these two wonderful men crossing each other’s path and there’s attraction from the very beginning which soon morphs into some very steamy times.
I loved watching Pete’s metamorphosis into the man he always wanted to be. His anxiety and OCD tendencies are written in a very sympathetic manner by the author and are not magically fixed.
The Island soon captures Pete’s heart and he wholeheartedly embraces Island life and a life with Goose. The found family characters from previous books are all there to join in the fun and I was left with a big smile on my face at the end of the book. We also get a glimpse of two new residents and a sneak peak at the next couples story. This is a very engaging book/series and I look forward to more.
