I adored the first book in this series and couldn’t wait for Clove and Marcel to get their story told.
I was not disappointed! Clove and Marcel are really interesting characters who had me fully invested from the start. Add in an intriguing plot, a good balance between the action and romance elements and with a nice mix of sweet with heat, it made for a very enjoyable and engaging read.

There’s no angst relationship wise but the bad people of the piece did cause some angst/drama, which was answered accordingly, and didn’t interfere with a well deserved HEA for Clove and Marcel.
A bit of a hint at the end regarding some side characters has me hoping for more in the Welcome Boulevard series.
