What an absolute blast I had reading this! I can’t say it enough. This book teaches you so much about death and how other cultures treat their loved ones once they are gone. Eye opening and heart warming in the most twisted sense. Love it!

This one is SO GOOD. It’s such a good depiction of grief and human relationships. Bittersweet & flawless.

DID NOT FINISH

I can’t believe I read this in 4 days but that speaks about how good it is. At any moment I felt bored and almost all of the twists caught me off guard. I loved it and would read it again.

It’s just crazy how easy to read this book is. I’m not sure if I would read it again so soon, though. But it really depicts how toxic a mother-daughter relationship can become when parents are narcissistic and manipulative. It is repulsive at times but it is such a good depiction of how hard it is to snap out of an eating disorder and to realize how much of the narrative was manipulated in your mind just to keep you “safe” from trauma. I loved this book and I’m also very glad her mom died.

Also… those twists and turns after her mom passed away?? From 70% onwards I read it in one sitting. I wasn’t able to keep my eyes out of it. The moment Steve came to her life I was already suspicious of something going on with him as well. And can we talk about the BOLD move of not taking those 3 hundred thousand dollars to keep her mouth shut about the abuse inside Dan Schneider’s set? She is a badass!

I really enjoyed this one. Very fresh light read, lots of comedy of course and a lovely overview of Seth’s life and career. Would read again
