Trying a different genre than what I am used to… didn’t like it

It goes a bit too deep and granular telling the story and I cannot stand reading about the crazy things the religion did/continue doing these days.

Listened to the audiobook, it bored me to death

I really enjoyed it in the beginning but at some point it stopped being interesting. I guess I am at a point in my life that I’ve already gone through this myself and some of the advice the psych gives feels useless to me. Also I cannot seem to relate with what the writer was going through so it is very hard to connect with her. I’ve been avoiding picking it up so I am not going to put myself through that anymore.

I got really interested in the story but I feel the way it is written is so hard to understand that it makes me lose interest…

Felt like I needed to know a lot about greek mythology to understand it, got bored pretty quickly

Not interesting, not picking it up again anytime soon

This book… I was very excited but it just disappointed me. It has a great start, very interesting facts being debunked, makes you think about the world in a more positive way. But then the rest of the book just keeps dragging on the same 15 facts and stories of the author giving conferences at different time and places but about the same damn thing.
After 3 days actively AVOIDING picking the book up, I give up 😒

It just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Removing this one as I don’t intent to finish it anytime soon.
