Gah this is so sweet and heartfelt and swoony and just absolutely lovely. Protect Eddie and Mark at all costs.

I just... this book is about 100 pages too long and heavy on family details while also not spending enough page time with the main couple actually enjoying each others company. Also not super cool with James owning a plantation in Jamaica (he sells it but still).

I dunno. I wanted more plot and excitement. What I got was a whole bunch of grown men coming to blows over Georgie, who spent most of the book (rightly) angry.

Get you a man who changes his handwriting for you so you can cope with your reading challenges. This is peak romance plus there is a literal treasure hunt. What's not to love?

I liked this marriage of convenience because it was truly two strangers getting married and really taking their time falling in love, almost reluctantly. I loved meeting all of the Bedwyn family and am very interested in the rest of the cast. I liked that Aidan was very starchy and took a looooong time to come to terms with his feelings and take a risk with Eve, and I loved how Eve loved "her" kids. Overall a lovely historical marriage of convenience!

Hngggggg I LOVED this. Seraphina is a "fallen woman," seduced at a young age by a man and then cast out of society. She meets Adam, a starchy architect, while he is renovating a house near her childhood home in Cornwall. Adam has an incredibly sad backstory and a huge heart. She wants a no-strings-attached affair and he just doesn't work like that. This book had excellent romantic tension, hottttt intimate scenes and excellent commentary on feminism, misogyny, and the way society treats men and women differently.

Seraphina is a really complicated and dare I say "unlikable" heroine. She is broken and struggling with alcohol. She is angry and sad and running from her feelings and that's what really made this book work for me.

This book takes a deep look not only at Irish politics in the Regency era but also activism, grief, trust and revolution. I really enjoyed the character study between Benjamin, a man who loves easily (maybe too easily) and Lydia, a woman willing to do ANYTHING for her cause (a free Ireland). Lydia has a past with another (now de*d) man and that grief and guilt figures heavily into this story - almost to the point where it felt like a love triangle - but it also felt realistic and I enjoyed the hard fought HEA between these two. I will definitely be reading more Katherine Grant - and you should too!

This was an interesting twist on Peter Pan and I must confess I think I have only seen that movie one time and never have I read the book, so a lot of the references were lost on me. Even so, this book was really exciting with lots of fighting and conflict but also with quite a bit of emotional impact. I loved the twist of Wendy as trans-masc Peter Pan. The romance felt a little like a side note at times with so much action but it was also the way the characters got any semblance of a happy ending so it is an important part of this book.

Austin Chant is becoming a fave for me with the way they weave in magic/fantasy and historical settings.

I loved this treasure hunting story featuring Elf and Georgie, childhood "enemies" and true opposites in demeanor. I really enjoyed watching the two of them uncover and admire each other and especially liked all of the side characters.
