Incredible, beautiful story packed into such a small space. Would absolutely love to read more stories in this world.
Fantastic end to a great series. Great mystery and romance, well paced with some good, tense scenes. Just wonderful and simply everything I could have wanted.
EDIT upon reread: I’m not changing this review at all except to change what must have been a typo. Otherwise, I’ll just say that it still holds up beautifully upon a reread. A wonderful story. The next time I reread this, it’ll be the print version because I need to own a physical copy of this novel.
Adorable graphic novel. The characters truly take on a life of their own and are a fantastic driving force of the book. I truly enjoyed this.

Might be my favorite of this series so far. I have questions about things, but I kind of enjoyed this regardless.
This is the book of the series that I’m the most torn on. On one hand, the romance, the mystery, the pacing, the ending - not just to the book, but to the series as a whole - they were all great.
My problem with this book is that Pen explains to Mark several times body/gender dysphoria and how being an earl would trigger that, and each time Mark sounds like he understands and then a few pages later, suggests that Pen can and/or needs to just deal with it. Pen was frustrated. I was frustrated. Everything resolves in a very satisfactory way (that I totally saw coming, but am still glad it ended as it did), but I’m still a little miffed at Mark in particular. I’m not sure how to represent that in my ranking. 4 stars feels like both too much and too little, but there you have it.

Cute little short story that’s mostly just sex, honestly. But there’s a lyrical quality to the writing I really enjoyed. A nice way to spend about 10 minutes.
