This was such a rollercoaster. You know. The kind in open air and broad daylight, so you can see all the twists and turns as they’re coming but it’s still a rush as you go through them.

This took me a bit to get into but then I was all in. The characters are pretty good (Joss is such a cinnamon roll) and the plot was really interesting. I would have liked a longer book with more world building, but this was a fun read as it is.
Nick and Charlie are world class idiots. But I guess that comes with being teenagers.
Also, quite possibly my favorite grovel of this year. Maybe ever. Most certainly the cutest.

This was amazing. I went to it expecting it to be a monk and robot talking philosophy, and I wasn’t wrong per say. However, I didn’t expect to finish it and immediately require the next book. I was super surprised by how much I related to Dex, and how completely charmed I am by Mosscap. Like, I need more Dex and Mosscap RIGHT NOW. Please.
Additional notes: the setting is really interesting. I really liked the mythology. I’ve been slacking on reading Chamber’s Wayfarers series (even though I own all the books, lol) so now I really have to get on that.
