Very inspiring and empowering. The writing could have been better, tho.

This book was very entertaining. The writing was exquisite. I was reluctant to pick it up at first, because of the mixed reviews on goodreads, but I am glad i did. It wasn't as dark or as shocking as i was expecting it to be, but the writing made up for everything. I loved how the story, in every chapter, revealed something new, something shocking, but as we reach towards the climax things become less and less shocking. The climax definitely didn't drop a bomb either, but the storytelling was so strong that it kept me ingested. The story is told from three different persepectives which makes things way more creepier.

The story is about a girl named Rachel, who has recently lost her job because of her drinking problem. she's embarrassed to tell her friend -who she is living with - about her job so she starts pretending going to work everyday. On her way to work her train stops at a certain stop everyday that is near to her old house. she likes to take a peek into one of the houses and make up stories about the couple living there. she doesn't know them but In her head they are the perfect couple. She even creates a name for both of them and idealizes their relationship. She vicariously live through their perfect relationship until something really bad happens that ties her into that couple's story.

Rachel is an alcoholic, she is unreliable narrator, you can't trust her and that's what keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. I will definitely recommend this book.

I wish for you all the joy that this darkened world can employ.

I never would have picked this book up, if my friend hadn't bought it for me. I am not really fond of reading romance and fairytales, in general.
I went into this book expecting to not like it, but i was completely surprised. This was so fun and so heartbreaking. Part of me knew what was coming, but I didn't want to believe it, i didn't want to accept it. It is always difficult to see the characters you have grown to love and care about about meet a tragic end.

I loved how Marissa Meyer morphed this story while keeping the feel and tone of the orginal. Wonderland was wondrous the way it was supposed to be, and all the characters acted the way they were supposed to.

I really really enjoyed this book. I would recommend it to anyone who is into retellings or in mood for some lighthearted read.

Its a story about a girl named Catherine who has no interest in becoming a Queen. Her parents wants her to marry the King of hearts but Catherine wants to open a bakery and fall in love. She works to make her dream a reality not knowing that fate has something else in store for her. She is destined to become a heartless evil queen.

This story is about her forbidden love and dreams that will lead to her downfall, that will make her the Queen of Hearts.

I picked up this book because everyone on the book tube was raving about how heartbreaking and funny the book is. Honestly, I kept waiting for the moment that would make me laugh or bawl my eyes out, but that moment never came. I found myself reading the same chapter twice because the format and writing were extremely complex and difficult to understand. If it were written in a simpler format, this book would have been great, but sadly it wasn't.

Story is told from a perspective of more than 4 people and each person telling the story had a story of their own too, which made things even more confusing. This book could have ended in 100 pages, if the author hadn't filled the pages with unnecessary characters and their back stories.

This book didn't deserve a man Booker prize, in my opinion. it's not bad, but it's not good either, or you can say it's not for everyone.

would not recommend.

A wrecking ball of emotions that will leave you weak in the knees..

A beautifully written heartbreaking story that will make you sob hard at one scene and laugh at other. It's an emotional roller coaster ride that would take you from crying to laughing and back to crying in a matter of seconds.

I absolutely adored all the characters. They were so realistically complex and flawed. I really got obsessed with them. When I wasn't reading, I was thinking about them and all I wanted to do was read. Most of the things these characters were feeling really resonated with me partly because I myself have been through similar situations in life. I wanted to hug each one of these characters, specially Griffin. He was cute even with his OCD. His compulsion to always be on the left side was so annoyingly adorable.

The ending left me with happy tears. I really loved everything about this book. Highly recommended. This gets an A from me.

It was good but not great. I was expecting a unique take on the topic but hardly any new knowledge was shared in the book. Author tried to authenticate the facts that we already know. However, I enjoyed the anecdotes and learning about the fascinating studies carried on the topic.

Part that mainly focused on the business habits was very interesting and engaging rest of the book was okay.

Great illustrations. Plot was alright. Nothing out of the ordinary.

OMG! I didn't see that coming. It went from dark to twisted pretty quickly.

It's one of the best YA mystery/thriller novel I have read this year so far. This book had Pretty little liars vibes all over it. The plot, the characters, everything reminded me of PLL. It's highly addictive. Once you start reading it, you can't stop yourself from turning page after page. Ending blew me away and left me with tons of questions. Life isn't so black and white afterall.
Evil isn't born it's made

It had some plot holes here and there, but overall it was a pretty good read.

I really don't have much to say about this book. It's good. Plot is unique and enjoyable. In my opinion characters are the best and the worst part of the book. There are very diversed set of characters which is a good thing but none of the characters are very well developed. it's also pretty difficult to keep up 'cos there so many characters in the book.

I feel genuinely sorry for your life choices, If you haven't read this book, yet.

This book was unique and weird and crazy, it was unlike anything I have read. Neil Gaiman, created a magical world and hid great life lessons in his words in a way that only people who have the power to read between the lines would understand. The book was full metaphorical situations and events, and more than one meaning could be drived out of them. one of the quotes in the book perfectly describes the story: "you will never get any two people to remember anything the same. " similarly, you will never get two people to drive exactly the same meaning from this book and that's what makes this book so special. The book was neither a children book nor it was an adult book, it was better than that.

The book is told from the perspective of a 7 year old. When we are in our childhood we tend to believe in things that our adult self would never acknowledge. Throught the book the kid describes the events from his understanding that doesn't neccesarily mean that they happened exactly the way he explained them; the narrator has left it on the readers to construe the meaning. Howerver, the book is full of events and situations that are very relatable. The narrator assumes the role of a pedagog and give us great lessons, throughout the book, without being preachy, and every single word is articulated beyond perfection. A must read!
