I adore these characters and now I'm hooked! I'm immediately jumping into book 3. I didn't know what to expect when I started this series, but now I'm addicted.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I adored the characters in book 1 and I can't wait to read book two to see what happens! There is absolutely a cliffhanger, so be prepared!!

Sarah is a feisty and relatable character. Her inner thoughts can absolutely be found in readers.

Honest Review for an Early Copy 🌟

I think Hallow's Cove is the best thing to happen to 2025. And L.E. Eldridge adds to this fun!

Going Au Naturale is a dual POV monster romance where you meet the owner of the local farm in Hallow's Cove, Brooks, which is trying to get their Organics Certificate. Sydney is the certificate auditor.

"Sydney seemed to pull me in, like she had her own gravity, the kind that consumed all my thoughts."

Sydney is a harsh, city girl who thinks she knows what she wants. Little does she know, a pet duck named Chicken teaches her a new form of life and what small town life can be. IYKYK.

Brooks is a perfect good boy, with a lovely family, great friends, and is such a romantic.

Honest Review for an Early Copy

What a lovely book! I really liked this story of Clarissa, Thomas, and the family of 'not mobsters' (iykyk).

This third person POV story blends contemporary, supernatural, and a smidgen of darkness. Without sharing spoilers, the reader spends a majority of the time following Clarissa, a waitress in a small town diner, struggle in a small town life while taking care of her aunt. She meets a lot of new people along the way, one being Thomas, and tries to find out what Thomas is hiding.

DDW has a happy ending, with an open door relationship, with.... 4? spicy scenes, I think.

End of book spoilers-ish:
I LOVE the ending with the magic and the saving and the touch her and die. I think the ending is the most perfect ending.

I cannot believe this series is over. I remember when the first book came out and I was struggling for more, the end of book 1 leaving the reader wanting more. Well we got it, and more! Absolute stunning writing by Blake Gallows. The story envelopes the reader and whooshes them away into a new world of fantasy, magic, and fighting. So many questions are answered, characters are given their time, and spicy times are to be had.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy, but wants it darker.

Honest Review for Wining the Orc's Heart - Early Copy

Gosh Graz.

So adorable. 🥰 I love him. Little goofy, lotta stubborn, but willing to learn about his little human and her ways. There's a moment in there where I was seriously putting all my trust in Lyonne to give me a happy ending, because I wasn't positive where the story was going, but she takes care of her readers of course.

"Her body gleefully swallows me up, encasing me in her pristine warmth. I shut my eyes to hold back my finish, because I'm already so close with just one stroke. How does she do this to me? I can j**k off for an hour, but one taste of her and I'm at the precipice."

Winning is exciting, adventurous, and just as quick as the other Trollkin series books. It gives Indiana Jones, but monster romance. It's fated mates, but they don't immediately fall in love with each other and actively reject the bond. The magic is a little confusing to understand, but the characters grow and learn and make judgment calls, and live with the consequences of messing with said magic.

This is thee last book of the series supposedly, and I feel like there are a ton of unanswered questions, but maybe we will get answers later on!

👀Tropes: Dual Third Person POV Monster Romance with enemies to lovers, secret identity, unequal social status, forbidden love, fated mates, sapphic

☠️CW: Cursing, Death, Drug Use (off page), Sexual Content (Bondage, Lust-inducing venom)

📚Read Method: Kindle eBook ARC

✨Initial Reaction: I found Emma through some mutual discords and beta read a different book that is coming out later this year. When I heard she had a smaller novella coming out, I just knew I needed to read it. Very very excited, especially when I saw the art that was commissioned for it 👀

✨Final Reaction: THIS BOOK IS SO SWEET! It's very fast and very spicy, but also very sweet. There's a great quick plot to keep you entertained and invested, but really, just the relationship and hidden identity carry the book. Colette is sassy and honestly a blast to read. Nothing seems to bother her and makes her own way in the world, 'robin hood' style. On the other side, Mav is rigid, strict, and does not allow things to get in her way... until she receives a note from the person causing her problems. What happens when a commander and the thief she's chasing walk into a bar?

💖Quotes: <spoilers>
"Ride me, beautiful thief. Take your pleasure from me."

"Upset that I have a sweet, talented, beautiful manticore that is fated by the old gods to love me forever? No, Mav. I am surprised, but not upset."

"'I'm desperately in love with you, my lovely thief,' Mav whispered to her mate. "I'm grateful everyday that you caught me, love.' Colette answered, nestling her face into Mav's neck." </spoilers>

✨Initial Reaction: I devour all things Emily, so I knew I was going to love this book. I had just finished [book:My Minotaur Husband|202940544] and found my love for minotaur's, so this book was high up on my TBR. Original story is in My Monster Valentine: a limited edition monster romance anthology, then continued on Emily Antoinette's Patreon, then finally, turned into a whole book.

✨Final Reaction: Best Book of 2024. That's it.

No, but really, Ari is so relatable. All the inner monologues, the decision based on past traumas, the believe that she isn't good enough; it's hurts and also feels so normal. The slow growth of self, with the help of Wes, makes me want to better for myself, with the help of my husband.

💖Quotes:

👻🐝 "Godsdammit, now I'm staring at her breasts. Look away from the kitty titties!"

🏋️‍♀️ FMC: "But I'm too heavy!"
MMC: "You've got to be shitting me, Ari. I'm twice your size. I can deadlift over a thousand pounds. So shut up and let me fuck you."

💘 "I pay attention to things that are important to me."

🦝 "I know I put off more feral raccoon energy than hot bitch energy."

I really really don’t want to spoil anything because you have to spend the like two hours reading this. It’s a short sweet and spicy novella about a shy MMC and a confident FMC and every chapter is worth it. I laughed, I cried, I giggled, and I blushed. Get to know Shane and Elle. You will not be disappointed.

Second read through because it came out on Audiobook.
Jack Hesperus and Kingsley Rose bring the characters to life and it's so good. I will say, Jack does an amazing Shane (Maneater's MMC). It's exactly how I imagined them sounding. He does amazing voices and accents and you can tell which character is speaking because of it. I really really appreciate that.
