This was amazing! Possibly the best book of the trilogy.
All the way through this book I was worried that the ending still wouldn't answer enough, I would be left wondering for the rest of my life kind of thing. But it was such a final ending, so much meaning to it :)
I think probably the main lesson in this book is all about life. It's precious, and I guess it pointed out that we always feel like we don't have enough. This book just showed that actually, some people have to deal with not having long lives, and they have to have made their life count in the time they have. We don't have a date of death, so maybe we can forget what life really is. I loved this little bit at the end -- "Each new day is the chance to do more. We'll squeeze every second we can from our lives."
This book was full of meaning, full of characters I won't forget and overall, I loved it.

More childish than I remember the last one being haha. and oh my goodness how cheesy can a book get! Towards the end of the book I did kind of begin to find Cammie to be a little annoying, constantly "oh I can't possibly do that but I'll do it anyway because my friends are telling me to and I don't have a strong enough character to stand up and say no."
I did enjoy it, a nice lighthearted read with lots of funny parts.
Bit unrealistic though, the spy girls were so hopeless even though they're constantly being trained (I mean, come on they're supposed to be spies, I would be expected every girl in the entire school to have checked out what was happening in the mysterious East Wing or to at least have planted cameras), and the teachers were a bit hopeless too ("Oh I know let's discuss some top secret stuff right outside these closed doors and not check if someone is stood behind these closed doors...")
But it was a nice read!

Okay so I've recovered a bit by now.
maybe I was a bit harsh before. I guess I was just completely shaken up by the ending.
I really did like the writing style of this book, it just had an amazing way of making the reader see things. it was just the ending that completely freaked me out. Really, I think there's a lot the can be learned from this book.
I guess the weirdest thing for me was that for the only time in my life, I finished a book wishing that I could forget all those amazing characters I came to love.

Very good. Quite short, but had a lot in it. I wasn't really expecting the time-travelling part, and I guess in science that it didn't really make sense, but it was a good book. I cried right at the end, but not too much, and I guess it had quite a happy ending really. I definitely enjoyed.

Pretty depressing to start with, very confusing halfway through, rather sweet at the end. I found that this book could've had a great, moving, meaningful message to it, but it was all so rushed.
A quick read, though I won't say easy because of the confusing bits.

hmmm I wouldn't have recommended this as a child's book (just because of the amount of death and the disturbing consequences it had). it ended up being worse than I thought it was going to be before I started it, but better than I thought it was going to be when I was halfway through.
I do enjoy reading books about different people, different times, different places, different outlooks on life. this book was set in old Australia, about a little girl and her father who go through some extraordinary experiences.
there was a point in te book where I just got confused of where the book was heading, like I couldn't see a point in the story anymore.
I think I would have preferred something with more emotion in it. I mean, it was cleverly written, but it didn't make me cry or even come close to crying. some points kind of made me laugh, but I just found the book a little... monotone.
I guess the book was all about racism. (jeez I've been reading too many books about that recently).
it had good lessons: our actions affect others, don't judge a book by its cover, don't lie - not even small ones.

This was a brilliant book, but the ending completely ruined it for me.
Very clever, explaining simply about racism and discrimination and injustice.
But the ending just killed it for me. There could have been a thousand other ways to end it, still getting the reader to feel emotional. I personally feel like what even is the point of going on to read the next book if it ended like that.
Its important that books make the reader feel something, but some things are just too sad. While I was reading this book, I couldn't relax because of the unfairness and the misunderstandings and the stupidity and the innocence and the injustice. It was all unfair, which was how it was meant to be written, but the ending just... I feel like it was too much.

There's a certain amount and type of characters who die in a book before it just gets too sad and it seems like the story isn't going to lead to anything other than death.

This book did not turn out to be as good as I expected. I can see why the book has been made into a movie, its an interesting idea with a lot of potential. But the way its written... really not too good. Thomas annoyed me all the way through the book, none of the characters had any depth, it was not a moving book, it was incredibly slow and I think if all of Thomas's whining had been taken out, the book would've been considerably shorter. the ending was okayish.
Overall review: Great story, awfully written
