Guinevere is finally Queen of Camelot. Everything should be as it seems there. However, Guinevere does not fit in at all. The more she tries, the more harder it is. At nights she is plagued by dreams of darkness and unknowable power. The Dark Queen is rising an army against them.
I have been really anticipating this sequel and finally just got around to it. I liked Guinevere and her character. I do like the problem with the sister. I did feel like there were times the book was boring and confusing

Abby does a DNA test and finds out Savvy is her big sister. Both do a summer camp to find out the reason why they have been separated from one another and why Savvy was put up for adoption. This story is about sisters, friendships, and a secret love.
This book was just so cute. I really enjoyed seeing Savvy and Abby get to know each other and grow. I even joined the romance and didn’t feel like it over powered the story. I loved this so much more than Tweet Cute.

I never really know how to review sequel books with giving the description of the book without spoiling anything. Anyway, this picks up right after Spin the Dawn with Maia in her predicament that she was in at the very end of Spin the Dawn. Also, war is looming.
I really love the magic scissors in this and just how well done the magic is done in this book. I loved the romance. The war parts were great. I did feel like that this wasn’t as amazing as Spin the Dawn.

Ziva prefers working with metal than dealing with people. It’s suffocating and hard to be around people and her anxiety skyrockets. Her sister Temra usually does the talking for her. One day a warlord asks Ziva to commission a sword for her, but it must be her best work. If she can pass the test, then the warlord will provide her a home and she would make weapons for the soldiers. One day as she is making the sword, she sees the most beautiful man ever and she is never attracted to anyone. She tells all her secrets to the blade once she sees the man. When the warlord comes to collect her sword, it is Ziva’s best work and cannot be destroyed, but the warlord cuts herself on the blade and all her secrets are given to Ziva. Ziva plans to take over the world and make people bend to her. Ziva and her sister flee and have two men travel with them. The group all becomes friends and they face danger on the road.
I really enjoyed the group being friends and the romance. I liked seeing a main character having social anxiety and I could totally relate with her even though my anxiety is no where extreme as her. The world building was done well and I would love to explore more of the world. The action was well done. The magic weapons were cool and totally different from what I’ve read in fantasy. I did get annoyed with Ziva at times and wanted to scream at her.

Teriana breaks a mandate so her friend can escape an unwanted betrothal. Marcus has a secret and he is commander of a legion. Teriana and Marcus create an alliance they are reluctant about.
So, first of all I mad at myself. I picked up the book on audiobook and today when I was scrolling through my kindle I found this book in it! I owned it and forgot about it and I was thinking I would have read this physically instead of listening to it on audio. I will be reading book 2 and 3 physically. I liked the cultures of these characters and how they viewed family. I love the enemies to lovers and I think Danielle does a great job on all of her books.

It’s August 1983 and Nina Riva’s house burns down after a raging fire. What caused it? This book is told from the time June meets Mike Riva, who becomes a famous singer. They have four children and Mick cheats on his wife and really isn’t a father. Meanwhile in the present, the four children have secrets and baggage to go through.
This is set in the same universe of Daisy Jones & The Six as well as The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. There is something about Taylor Jenkins Reid’s writing that is magical and draws you in. Once you start reading, you are sucked in and need to know all the dirt and drama about all the characters. This book is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. I loved each of the characters and what they learned and didn’t learn about themselves and all the hardships they have gone through. This was such an amazing book and all of you need to pick it up on June 1st, 2021!

Fast forward a few years and Meddy’s Ma pretends to be Meddy on a dating website. Meddy goes on the date and is almost sexually assaulted, so she tasers him and he crashes the car. He is dead so she stashes him in her trunk and her Ma and Aunties help her and come up with a plan. Stuffing him in a cooler is part of the plan and they will take care of the body after the wedding the next day. Well, things don’t go according to plan and the body is shipped to the wedding. Mayhem follows.
This book was hilarious. I loved each of the characters and especially loved Ma and the Aunties because they were always saying hilarious things. This book is ridiculous, but in a good way. This book is definitely not realistic, but that’s okay because it was really entertaining. I do wish the romance was better developed.

This is the sequel to The Devouring Gray. In Fourth Paths it must be saved. The beast has been subdued, however a new danger lurks.
I was so confused about who the characters were and how far in time this takes place from The Devouring Gray. I really should have reread The Devouring Gray before reading this, but it is okay. It was a good read still and I still enjoyed the characters and the stuff they faced.

This book has a lot of mixed reviews and I was kind of nervous to read it. Plus, a lot of thrillers fall flat for me because I end up guessing things. Well, that didn’t happen to me with this book. I never guessed who did it and the twists. The book was well done, but it is a little on the slow side. I did enjoy it and it kept me very entertained with making me want to know what happens.

Janna is Muslim and has a crush on a boy that is not Muslim. She really cares about what he thinks. Janna’s brother moves back into her and her mother’s two bedroom apartment and she is kicked out of her room and has to share a room with her mother. She is obsessed with books and photography, and is a graphic novelist. She lives in a tight knit Muslim community.
I really enjoyed this book. I picked it up because I signed up to do a book tour for Misfit in Love, but I didn’t know it was a sequel to this, so I looked up on Libby if the library had an audiobook and they did. I loved the day to day life of Janna. I was confused about the titles of chapters of Saint, Misfit, and Monster.
