The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearse
4.0

Elin and her boyfriend Will are on their way to a hotel in Switzerland that used to be a Sanatorium for people who suffered from tuberculosis. Elin finds the place clinical and odd. Elin is to meet her brother Isaac for his engagement to Laure. Elin and Isaac are estranged and Elin isn’t really there to celebrate the engagement, but to confront her brother about the death of their younger brother Sam. However, before she can do that Laure goes missing and people start dying. Elin starts to investigate and finds some disturbing things.
This book has a lot of mixed reviews and I was kind of nervous to read it. Plus, a lot of thrillers fall flat for me because I end up guessing things. Well, that didn’t happen to me with this book. I never guessed who did it and the twists. The book was well done, but it is a little on the slow side. I did enjoy it and it kept me very entertained with making me want to know what happens.
