I really loved this book! I couldn’t put it down. I loved seeing how torn Luella was. I loved both Luella and Eldas’s character growth. I definitely recommend this book.

The Girl in the Mirror is about two identical twin sisters named Summer and Iris. When their father died, he left behind his will that stated that the first child to bear the heir will receive hundred million dollars. The race is on. Iris is called to Thailand to help her sister and brother in law out. Summer and Iris sail the yacht and on one night Summer goes missing. Iris takes over Summer’s life and tries to get pregnant.
I was so bored with this. It talked a lot of about sailing. I really disliked Iris and her narrative. The twists were so obvious.

I really enjoyed A Golden Fury. It was really engaging and I loved the places the book took us. I loved the suspense and the characters. The book was slow at times, but definitely worth it.

This is my fourth time rereading ACOMAF and I fall in love with it even more each time. This book is about healing, discovering yourself, and finding love when darkness over takes you. ACOMAF takes place a few months after Feyre goes Under the Mountain and dies and becomes remade into Fae. She is struggling. Tamlin keeps her away from doing things and she is going crazy and letting her grief eat her alive. He does nothing to help her cope. On her wedding day to Tamlin, she silently begs anyone to rescue her. Rhys shows up and calls in his one week a month bargain. From there the book picks up with the threat of war and coping from grief and healing.
Ready Player Two takes place over a few years after Ready Player One. Wade has won and has split his prize with his friends. They now own the Oasis and GSS. The day after winning, Wade finds out about the ONI, which is a headpiece that connects to the brain and allows you to go into the Oasis and experience as if you were there. Then, you can record experiences and upload them to ONI.net. Once the ONI device is out in the world, a new riddle and quest pops up. No one can find the shards. Three years later the first one is found and hell breaks loose. Is the ONI actually safe and will something sinister happen?
I really, really loved Ready Player One and gave it five stars. I liked Ready Player Two, but not as much. The beginning is very slow and it takes 135 pages to get the plot actually going. Once you hit around page 135 it picks up a lot, but there were times where there were pockets of slowness. The ending was good, but not as satisfying for me. Still a good read.

Skyhunter follows a Striker named Talin who is a mute refugee living in Mara. The Federation is threatening to take over Mara. Talin is looked down by many people and should not have been chosen as a Striker, but she was granted special permission. She is one of the best Striker’s out there. One day a guy from the Federation is to be executed in front of everyone and Talin feels something for him and decides to rescue him from execution. The Firstblade punishes her by making Red her shield since her last Shield died. Talin must learn about Red and his secrets. Also, her friends and her must find a way to end the war before the Federation takes over Mara.
It took me a while to finish Skyhunter because there were times I didn’t vibe with the writing or felt it to be boring. It’s a fun story overall though and very creative. I enjoyed the way the Striker’s communicate with everyone with sign. I enjoyed both territories we seen and the horrors. Overall a good book. Can’t wait for the sequel.

This follows Cardan through his life and past The Queen of Nothing. I really liked the lessons Cardan learned and the stories he learned. Also, seeing the progression of his character was fun.
The Tourist Trap is about Zoey a tourist who is excited to visit Alaska and about a cranky, tourist hating man named Graham. Graham takes an automatic liking to Zoey. Zoey ends up touring Alaska and hangs out a lot with Graham.
Not even the cute dog Jake could save this book! I like the premise of this story, but the story was so slow. It was boring as well. There were a few funny moments.

This book is about Mary Queen of Scots. She is betrothed to the Crown Prince of France. When they marry, they decide to not try for an heir since it will be a long time until Francis is made King of France. However, the King soon dies and Francis becomes King. Mary can turn into a mouse and must keep it a secret. Something happens to Francis and there are lots of twists and turns.
I loved that they did My Lady Jane and I have read some of My Plain Jane. This book was not as funny as the other two and felt like it was trying too hard. It was long and had a lot of boring parts. I do love that they are now doing Mary’s.

A Emperor’s daughter, a smuggler, a governor’s daughter, the governor’s daughter’s girlfriend, and a woman who knows nothing. These people are all the main characters in the book. Lin, the Emperor’s daughter wants to prove to the Emperor that she is ready for keys and for her to learn Bone Magic.
This book has a lot of political intrigue. I loved how all the characters were mostly tied together and had their own agendas that sometimes almost aligned. The magic system was interesting and I want to know more. The world building was great too. I can’t wait for book two. I’m so glad Amazon recommended this to me and I couldn’t pass up a book blurbed by Sarah J. Maas.
