Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline
4.0

Ready Player Two takes place over a few years after Ready Player One. Wade has won and has split his prize with his friends. They now own the Oasis and GSS. The day after winning, Wade finds out about the ONI, which is a headpiece that connects to the brain and allows you to go into the Oasis and experience as if you were there. Then, you can record experiences and upload them to ONI.net. Once the ONI device is out in the world, a new riddle and quest pops up. No one can find the shards. Three years later the first one is found and hell breaks loose. Is the ONI actually safe and will something sinister happen?
I really, really loved Ready Player One and gave it five stars. I liked Ready Player Two, but not as much. The beginning is very slow and it takes 135 pages to get the plot actually going. Once you hit around page 135 it picks up a lot, but there were times where there were pockets of slowness. The ending was good, but not as satisfying for me. Still a good read.
