Where do I begin with this? This was beyond fantastic and I was sucked in from page one and never let go of. I craved more after it finished and was super sad when I had to wait for the sequels since they were on hold by the library. This book is about a half demon, half warden who encounters a demon. She believes all demons are evil, but this demon is different and surprising. Does she get feelings for him? This book caused me to go down the rabbit hole of all Jennifer L Armentrout and I’m so excited about it because this book was so dang good.

I loved this more than Half-Blood. This had a lot of action, humor, and just amazing world building and character building throughout it. I loved how fast paced it was and how Alex grows throughout the first two books. I cannot wait to see more romance and character growth as well as world building in the next three books. I could not put this book down. Pure follows Alex from Half-Blood with her training in the covenant and her forbidden crush she has on Aiden.

Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. This was freaking amazing! This had all the feels. I was happy, laughing, crying, and angry throughout this book. There was a lot of action and swoon worthy moments through it. This book follows up after Alex comes back from New York and she has to face her consequences or run from them while worrying about her loved ones. This book was definitely hard to put down and each book in the series just keeps getting better and better.

Wicked follows Ivy, who belongs to the Order. The Order tracks down Fae and sends them back to their world. One day Ivy is shot by a different kind of Fae. No one believes her on what happened, but Ren does. Ren is new to New Orleans and comes from Colorado. Ren and Ivy become paired up to work with one another to hunt down the Fae. However, Ivy hasn’t been with a man since her boyfriend died three years ago by working on the job. Will sparks fly?
I really enjoyed Wicked. It was fun, fast paced, swoon worthy, and action packed. Also, I now have a new favorite character named Tink. He made the book for me and every time there was a scene in the book with him I would laugh out loud. He’s super funny and cute. I can’t wait to read Torn.

Katy moves from Florida to West Virginia. Once in West Virginia, she meets a set of twins who live right next door to her. However, there is something different about them and quite not human.
I really enjoyed Obsidian and how fast paced it was. I devoured it within a day because it was that good. I loved the slow burn romance too.

Elixir takes place right after the jaw dropping ending of Deity and right before Apollyon. This is told from the point of view of Aiden.
I really liked Elixir and it helped with the want of Apollyon since I have to wait for it at the library. It was fun to see Aiden’s point of view. Also, it was great to see how it is going to build up for Apollyon.

When this prequel was announced I felt meh about it, however on publication day I kept seeing people post about it, so I decided to jump into the hype. Did it disappoint? No, it was deeply satisfying and left me wanting more. I was bored for this first part of the book, but once part two started I was sucked into the book and enjoying it and enjoying knowing President Snow as a character. It was fun seeing the Hunger Games from an outside perspective and to see how The Hunger Games really came to be. I loved seeing about Peacekeepers and other characters as well. Really well done. Highly recommend.

Once upon a time ago, like a year ago, I thought there was a lot of info dumping and felt like the book was juvenile. Fast forward a year, I found out this was a spin-off series. So, I read the main series and loved it, then decided to give Storm and Fury a Chance again. Yes, there is a bit of info dumping in the beginning, but it is to help the reader understand the world better. I did not find any characters juvenile this time. This time I enjoyed it.
Trinity is not a Warden, but not completely human either. She is something else entirely. She is bonded to a warden named Misha. Zayne, from the Dark Elements series comes to their compound about something that is killing both wardens and demons. While he is there, there is an attack on the compound and Misha is taken. This makes Trinity to decide to go back to DC with Zayne so they can find Misha and solve the mystery on what is killing wardens and demons.
I really enjoyed Storm and Fury and I think that’s because I read the Dark Elements series first and got a taste of the world before. The world kept getting built with this book on seeing more of the Wardens aspect. There was a lot of humor and banter in this book. The characters were amazing. Then, the plot twist at the end was an oh my gosh moment. Highly recommend.
