Storm and Fury by Jennifer L. Armentrout
5.0

Once upon a time ago, like a year ago, I thought there was a lot of info dumping and felt like the book was juvenile. Fast forward a year, I found out this was a spin-off series. So, I read the main series and loved it, then decided to give Storm and Fury a Chance again. Yes, there is a bit of info dumping in the beginning, but it is to help the reader understand the world better. I did not find any characters juvenile this time. This time I enjoyed it.
Trinity is not a Warden, but not completely human either. She is something else entirely. She is bonded to a warden named Misha. Zayne, from the Dark Elements series comes to their compound about something that is killing both wardens and demons. While he is there, there is an attack on the compound and Misha is taken. This makes Trinity to decide to go back to DC with Zayne so they can find Misha and solve the mystery on what is killing wardens and demons.
I really enjoyed Storm and Fury and I think that’s because I read the Dark Elements series first and got a taste of the world before. The world kept getting built with this book on seeing more of the Wardens aspect. There was a lot of humor and banter in this book. The characters were amazing. Then, the plot twist at the end was an oh my gosh moment. Highly recommend.
