This Novel was my first taste of Ms.Gregory's superb works of historical fiction. The time is of Henry VIII, and his whirlwind courtship and marriage to Miss Anne Boleyn of France/England. Though this tale is more than that, it also tells of a family struggle, and how two sisters are torn apart through family ambition. With just the right amount of historical correctness this tale spins off into a highly likely explanation of one the world's greatest romances.

These stories were awesome, the imagery was stunning, the only thing wrong with it was how short they were.

These books are, honestly, my guilty pleasure. The writing style is simple and flows well, and the series is fraught with angst, mayhem, and raging teenage hormones; what's not to love?! I reread these books all the time.

The Lovely Bones is a compelling read, that hits like a ton of bricks. the author makes it very clear from the get go
(in the little girl's voice)that the main character is dead
, and watching this event unfold from what the reader hopes is heaven. It is the somewhat depressing, highly realistic account of a family trying to find their missing child. Definite trigger warnings for those who have lost children, are parents, or suffer from depression.

I read this while still in high school and it had a profound effect to make me realize that anyone at any age can suddenly drop dead. This really helped me to realize that I need to treasure my time on earth ,as well as that of those I love.

A refreshing new take on Rapunzel. the story of a young girl coming of age and realizing she needs more in her life than just her mother. I read this book in less than a day, it was that good.

A dystopian novella comparing the Russian Kremlin to that of a drastically mismanaged farm, is nothing short of the most annoying book i have read to date, though I may be biased. I had to read for a class, three different times.

This book was quite a daring read for me at the time since I was about 12 and it dealt with necromancy, or black magic. It was a fascinating and captivating read.

Just as always, amazing imagery. Even a refreshing take on how the love triangle ends. I was hooked from the start. I couldn't put it down if i tried (I didn't).

Tessa is one fierce woman, I want to be her when I grow up. She is one of the most bad-ass women I have seen written in a long time. I adore Jem, but Will is definitely more my speed. I love that Tessa was able to have children, it would have been such a shame otherwise.

I give this book 9 adamant citadels out of ten.
