Another Stunner by Ms. King, she always keeps me hooked. Believable, Russell is the natural evolution for Holmes from Watson.

Ms. King weaves a stunning world in which Holmes is not a narcissist in the least, while somehow remaining true to the erstwhile detective many of us have come to love.

Dying in style was entertaining, and quite light for a murder mystery, an appropriate read for any age level, only possible trigger would be if you have a loved one that passed away who was murdered.

Sundays at Tiffany's was a bit of a drab read, however it did start out with a good story line. A little girl grows up to remember her childhood imaginary friend, a man she will eventually come to love. it is heartwarming at least.

The writing was stilted and far too philosophical, plus while reading it I kept hearing John Green's voice. The characters were muted by this for me. though the story itself is good. Did you know that in Norway the title is F**k Life? Why was it not released here under that monicker?

I must say for all the action and adventure in the beginning of this book, I could not for the life of me understand the chosen direction for the ending. And that epilogue, I wish I could unread that! ruined the whole thing for me, I will endeavor to pretend it does not exist. However, if you like to see the hero settle down, step right up. Aside from not being my cup of tea, it was a beautifully written book, and a decent ending off of a saga.

Catching Fire was fascinating, not too much focus on the would-be love triangle, thank god, as this series was never about that! We return to the world of the reaping; the senseless murder of children for no apparent reason other than to control the public and cause fear of rebellion. But of course, they take it too far and their cushy capital system begins to unravel...

Suzanne Collins weaves a fantastically dysfunctional little world in which a hero becomes such without any desire whatsoever. She is just trying to save her sister. Plenty of daring and the awkwardness of teenagers ensues. Pretty soon our Katniss must choose between family and heart's desire.

An entertaining and dark tale of how a young woman with no future destined to hang makes a deal with someone who is definitely Fae and most certainly underhanded to change her life radically. incredibly written and gorgeous imagery tell this fictional account of how Queen Elizabeth the first ascended the throne.

Yet another amazing journey into what might have been in the past that shapes us all. This time the rags to riches tale of a woman on the side of the road who caught the eye of the would-be king. With luck and some magic she rises to become queen. Only to have it all torn after bearing the king's heirs. The young queen must then take herself and family into hiding for their own safety. I read this book cover to cover in less than three days!
