This is the second book in Lilith Vincent's Promised in Blood series. This book follows Chiara and her men, and we learn more about who they are and how they got that way. The story is definitely hot! Chiara has an amazing relationship with each of her men! I'm ready for book 3 after the cliffhanger!
I'm not usually a fan of books with paranormal themes, but I really enjoyed this story. The serial killer, dark romance twists and turns kept me on my toes, and I didn't want to put the book down until I finished! There was some spicy scenes, and some funny scenes to lighten the mood a little.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I’m not usually into fantasy, fae books, but when I saw that Dana was writing one I knew I had to read it.
I wasn’t expecting it to be as dark and twisted as what it was, but that just made it more appealing to me. I guess when I think fairies, I think Tinkerbell lol. Alys is not that. This story is not that.
If you’re looking for a little magic with a little darkness, this is the story for you!

I enjoy a scary thriller once in a while. This one definitely fit that bill. Serial killers. Missing children. Creepy cats. All of these things kept me on my toes and kept me turning the pages. Ted is an odd man, raising his daughter. Dee is a woman convinced that Ted kidnapped her sister. Olivia is the creepy cat. All of these characters intertwine to create a story that is haunting and unusual. Don't go into this story thinking you know what is going to happen. Believe me, you don't.
I absolutely adored this book! It was so great to see how Piper grew up and how her relationship with Brendan blossomed. Brendan learned a lot about himself, as well, I think. I'm excited to read the next book in the series!
Felicity has recently moved and opened up a chocolate factory. On opening night, an employee drops dead, and unfortunately, Felicity is suspected for murder by her ex-boyfriend who's now a cop. Felicity and her rabbit work to clear her name. They also make some friends, and maybe more than friends, along the way.
This story was so much fun! I can't wait to read more in this series because I'm sure Felicity and her friends are going to have more trouble to get into and out of.

I wanted to read this book because I love good, creepy stories. I also love stories that take place in an area similar to my hometown. This story takes place in a rural Midwestern town. Sibley returns home after many years of estrangement from her mother. But her mother isn't the same person she remembers.
Sibley and her mother start untangling lies and secrets, which makes for a great story. I didn't want to put this book down!

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book when I started it. I’m not usually a fan of high school drama tropes. But Ember’s story is so much more than that.
This girl has lost her mother, never known her father, moved to another country to live with family she didn’t know, and manages to kick ass in and out of the MMA ring.
There are twists and turns along the way. Ember manages to overcome so much, just to have it taken away. You forget that this girl is only 17. I am diving into the next book. I can’t get enough of Ember and Vince and their love for each other!
