Oh Persephone. Communication is key! In this book, Persephone did seem to mature some at the end. But in the first and second parts, she drove me crazy! I don't know how many times I wanted to shake her and tell her to just go talk to Hades, and stop keeping secrets. There were parts of this book that broke my heart, and Hermes was there again to make me laugh. I'm excited to see what Hell Demeter plans to reign down in the next book!
This story starts off with a kick to the gut for Damon. He struggles with this throughout the book, but eventually, he lets his friend in and the story gets better from there. It is a slow burner, but it's worth it. Damon's inner struggles really broke my heart, but luckily Bruno was there for him. I love MM romance, and this one didn't disappoint!
This book was amazing! Loch and Mishka's chemistry was so hot. Their banter was hilarious. Leena just made the story even better. I don't usually read demon/monster stories, but I'm so glad I gave this one a chance.
There are some dark themes, so check your trigger warnings!

Yolanda, queen! You did it again!
This is a quick but heavy read. Lily is running from her past and her sister. She finds solace in a priest and meets a new friend. Unfortunately, her past soon catches up to her. It does end in a happily ever after, sort of.
This book is not for the feint of heart. It involves an exorcism, abuse, and mention of sexual assault.

Ember's story just keeps getting darker and darker. At least she has Vin and her family by her side.
I was a little apprehensive going into this book because the first book, The Stable Boy, broke my heart and wrecked me for a good few days. I am glad I jumped into the sequel, though.
The author, Zee Shine Storm, writes Oliver's story beautifully. He finally gets the happiness and love he deserves. Paige redeems herself by the end of the sequel, which is good because I hated her at the end of The Stable Boy.
I am sad the story is over, but it was a wonderful journey. Be aware that the Tyrant Prince is a dark romance, and it has some very dark themes. Check your triggers.

Ivy is everything I imagined Ember and Vin's daughter to be. She's strong, smart, hot, and a force to be reckoned with. Her story was hard to read at time, but these struggles only made her stronger. She is definitely Black Slaughter.
