I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book when I started it. I’m not usually a fan of high school drama tropes. But Ember’s story is so much more than that.

This girl has lost her mother, never known her father, moved to another country to live with family she didn’t know, and manages to kick ass in and out of the MMA ring.

There are twists and turns along the way. Ember manages to overcome so much, just to have it taken away. You forget that this girl is only 17. I am diving into the next book. I can’t get enough of Ember and Vince and their love for each other!
