Like I'm not gonna read book 2... when it clearly should've all been in one book, this is not a story that needs multiple books.
If you've read any other Ali Hazelwood, then you've read these three STEMinest novellas.
Was there too much focus on the male lead being huge and the female lead being small? Yes. Was there weird talk of size? Yes: "The way he filled the doorway", "His fingers so long they met both on my back and above my belly button", and the bit about him being so heavy when he sat on the sofa she had to stop herself sliding towards him... Did I eat this up anyway? Yes. That is the short answer. It was soooo weird at times but at least there was no bo*b eating this time.
Would I recommend this? Yes, if you like cheesy, cute romance to fill a void in your soul, then yes. If you like guys falls first, then yes. If you like, stoic and sunshine, then yes. If you like rich and not rich, then yes.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for Ali Hazelwood and loved it.

Two Wrongs Make a Right is my first foray into a Chloe Liese book and is from what I've read inspired by Much Ado About Nothing, which is my favourite Shakespeare, so I was very excited, and I was not disappointed. The two leads are Jamie - a paediatrician, and Bea - an erotic artist, who are 'set up' by Bea's sister and Jamie's best friend, they decide to take their revenge by fake dating, and the plot takes off from there.
There is autistic representation through Bea and anxiety through Jamie; however, I won't be commenting on the accuracy or faithfulness of the representations; as someone who is not neurodiverse nor suffers from anxiety, it is not my place.
The dual POV was so great; it was lovely to see them both falling in love and coming to the realisation that 'enemies' had indeed become 'lovers'. Jamie is a wonder. The scene where he made soup for her because she doesn't like the texture of vegetables and cared for her during her period was adorable. It's also, in a way, grumpy x sunshine; Jamie is put-together, always ironed, not a hair out of place, and Bea is open, tattooed and strong.
Whilst it was good, I couldn't give it five stars because of the third act; it wasn't needed and didn't really add anything, like the story would have ended strong without it... The whole thing gave me miscommunication vibes, and it lost me at that point, like yes, great HEA, but also no.

I just didn't care enough about the plot or characters to finish.
Pineapple Street is Jenny Jackson's debut and primarily follows three women: Darley, Sasha and Georgiana, who were either born into or recently joined the Stockton family (multi-pov). The plot is character-driven and follows the sisters as they navigate motherhood, class and privilege, all themes the book aims to tackle.
At times it felt as though I was reading Gossip Girl... it's hard to put into words, but a part of me does not care about rich people problems, so it did take me longer than normal to read; however, Jackson's writing kept me engaged.
I think because the book is so ring-fenced in terms of no real plot other than just following the sisters, it made it hard to get into. However, you may like the 'no plot, just vibes' going on so this book may very well be for you.
Thank you to NetGalley, Jenny Jackson and the publishers: Random House UK, Cornerstone, and Hutchinson Heinemann for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Legends & Lattes is an excellent comfortable read. Whilst set in the forgotten realms, it is not a story of epic heroism or violence or mythology but a simple tale of friendships. It is a tale of misfits finding other misfits and building a unique enterprise they can call theirs.
Viv, the protagonist, wants to leave behind her life as an adventurer to start a coffee cafe, and this desire and change in direction for life leads to her finding friends to help her accomplish this dream.
The book is well-written and well-paced, with good character development.
I would recommend highly recommend this.
