Absolutely heartbreaking book! Such beautifully written characters. The feelings of each character ,especially Jude ,are so well articulated that you can feel every heartbreaking emotion. If you have struggled with mental health issues you will know how real the writing is .

AMAZING READ! This book/duology had me absolutely enraptured! I devoured both books in 24 hrs because I simply could not pull myself away from the story. The magical realism hits a perfect balance for me. Following Briesis along on her journey of self discovery has the reader feeling a variety of emotions that are incredibly relatable for anyone who is or has been a teen. And the absolute cliffhanger it ends on will have you diving into the next book immediately! Beautifully written and I look forward to reading more works by this author .

Read them both! Amazing storytelling start to finish . I jumped into this book within literal minutes of finishing the first one because I needed more of this story and these characters. The deeper dive and intertwining of mythology in this book was a wonderful surprise . I was on my seat edge til the last moment . Brava to this author !

I’m not usually a romance girly but this book was a refreshing read! I loved how real the characters were. While there are many heavy topics discussed throughout , I feel like they were addressed very tactfully while maintaining the integrity of the raw emotions that came with each topic. I did spend about half the book wanting to shake the main characters for being so stubborn and not speaking up but it only made things more real . It was so refreshing to not see romance portrayed as just the usual “Hallmark” cliche . Cannot wait to read the rest of this series

A short story that had me wanting to read more immediately. Seriously if this was a full book I would eat up every page of it. Would love to see more of this author and this story
