I’m not usually a romance girly but this book was a refreshing read! I loved how real the characters were. While there are many heavy topics discussed throughout , I feel like they were addressed very tactfully while maintaining the integrity of the raw emotions that came with each topic. I did spend about half the book wanting to shake the main characters for being so stubborn and not speaking up but it only made things more real . It was so refreshing to not see romance portrayed as just the usual “Hallmark” cliche . Cannot wait to read the rest of this series
