I loved the references to Greek mythology (this has been the year of reading Percy Jackson and modern Greek retellings for me), and I loved NEVER KNOWING who "the" villain was. I was fascinated by The Silent Patient, and was subsequently fascinated by this one as well. Parts were infuriating, parts had me on my toes, but all of it was exactly what I needed.

This was amazing, this was beautiful, this was moving, this was painful.

I have zero excuses as to why I did not actually finish this book in October. This book was adorable, if was spicy, it was witchy, it was romantic, it was the PERFECT Halloween mood read.

I'm completely obsessed with this book and I will recommend it to every single person I encounter from here to eternity.

I'm obsessed with this and I want this to be a cheesy Netflix Christmas movie ASAP.
