spoopywife's Reviews (918)

The entire book felt like a strange dream where you kind of knew what was happening but also didn't at the same time. Reality meant nothing, just like a child's dream world. Definitely hadn't prepared myself for the body horror, which was my bad. Other than that, I enjoyed the ride I was on, whether or not I knew what was happening all the time.

I was definitely not the target audience. I came for murder and got the world of luxury goods and design, rich people problems, and corporate crime. This was very well done, however, and extremely thorough.

I don't know why it took me so long to read this. It has so many poignant themes and is written beautifully. The particular audiobook I listened to also had fantastic narration that really brought the writing to life.

A fantastic conclusion to the trilogy! As per usual, the characters really shined. I love how everything came together and wrapped up, even though I'm sad there won't be any more.

A lot of myths feel disjointed and disconnected from each other. We hear them out of order or don't make the proper connections. I love how these different myths were strung together and connected to make up the story of these two sisters.

I can't believe this is a debut! It's so beautifully written!

DID NOT FINISH: 27%

Wasn't clicking at all by the 27% mark. Fox and Hannah didn't seem like the same characters from It Happened One Summer and I wasn't feeling the same spark.

I appreciated that the FMC is actually a strong female protagonist who accepts the help and support of the men in her life. She is capable, but she still recognizes when she needs help. The alphas didn't treat her as if she was incapable of taking care of herself and listened to her thoughts and opinions,

Audiobook was definitely the way to go with reading this one!

Really enjoyed watching the relationships develop throughout the story. The pack dynamics were definitely unique and I loved every second!

There were also so many cute little references to the other books in the series that it all just felt interconnected in such a lovely way.
