Classics can seem really intimidating, especially classic sci-fi, but this is extremely accessible! It's immersive and intriguing from the very beginning and I really enjoyed it. I honestly forgot how much I love H.G. Wells' works and this might be a gateway book for a deep dive into his work.

Definitely a solid YA thriller! I enjoyed the overall plot and themes discussed. The twists weren't the easiest to call for me. I do feel like some of the side characters fell a little flat, but the twists made up for it.
