Just loved.
Another awesome installment! There is no good reason I waited so long to read this. The concept is so enjoyable, and Heberling hits the emotional resonance so hard, I choked up several times reading this slim volume. To top it off I love her art style. Definitely gotta read more of this story.
This memoir goes deep in the descriptions of food, spending some chapters just listing and describing dishes, ingredients, flavors. That wasn't exactly what I was expecting but I loved it. The later chapters more focused on Hamilton starting her own family were interesting in a different way as well, although I can't imagine putting out there something so honest in negative feelings.
This storyline was pretty cool, but reading through all the casual misogyny that this Thor has to suffer through was just exhausting.
This book has a pretty interesting premise, but the plot increasingly strained credibility for me. I didn't buy into the motivations of the good guys or the bad guys, and the love triangle was bleh. Then the moments of big reveals that might have breathed fresh enthusiasm into the story for me ended up falling flat.
This book is perfectly executed and rings with so much voice. It's hard to put down even when it's hard to read. And everyone should be reading it.

Confusing at times, but this story buzzes in my heart.

YES. I can't say enough good things about this series. The setting is wildly creative and the characters are the absolute best.
I didn't have very high expectations for this book, but I was completely taken by it. My wish for a girl Jaime Watson remains, but the actual character created here was not bad. High action and easy to tear through, plus I'll definitely want to read more of this series to spend more time with the characters.
?? I wish I'd gone into this more aware of what it was going to be about. I feel like I like what Moon and Bá are trying to do, and it's ambitious and interesting, but I just didn't like how it made me feel, and couldn't connect to this story.
