Couldn’t put this one down. I felt somewhat bereft after finishing, but after sitting with the story for awhile, I get the author’s intention. This would be a good book for a book club.

Beautiful, shining stars! Loved this new novel by one of my favourite authors. Marisa’s writing is so lovely and poetic...it envelops you like a warm, comfy shrug on a cool, misty day.

This was a very steamy read. Definitely not a story for everyone however the characters grabbed me and so did the great writing. You know when a story ends and you just sit quietly, feeling like you’ve been on a remarkable adventure but broken-hearted that things will never be as they were...sigh. I could see this novel adapted to a movie.

Listed to the audiobook on Audible because it’s not available in electronic format. Great story with good messages about not holding back in life, as we only have one to live. Embrace every single moment. Be thankful for love, never push it away or feel like you are not worthy.
