This was a disturbing psychological thriller that I couldn't put down.

3.5 stars. Very good writing and I loved the introspection.

I was loving this novel...and then the last part progressed, undesirably so, to a level of strange that I just cannot accept as more than three stars. At one point I would have described this story as a psychological thriller, but then it was suddenly sprinkled with moral dilemmas and soapbox posturing reminiscent of a Jodi Picoult novel. Not that there's anything wrong with Jodi Picoult, the attempt here was just out of place. Somewhat disappointing.

3.5 stars...many twists and turns, but I didn't care for the ending.

3.5 stars...I was really enjoying the story and intrigued by the mystery surrounding the plot, however, it ended up falling a little flat.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book...it was funny! I gained a whole new appreciation for Amy Shumer. I'm definitely a fan!

I wanted to enjoy this novel, but I just don't have the patience for it right now. Maybe someday.
