This was okay. I didn't really enjoy the reasoning for the whole ordeal, but it was an easy read.
I feel like the relationships built up too quickly and was lacking a lot of emotion. They seemed to suddenly be lovers and friends.
There was a lot left unsaid. I'd like to see a second book with more depth in the characters. Their "backstories" are pretty vauge and don't really add much.
I also didn't like the last chapter, the conclusion was bland.

Also, unrelated to the story, but there were a few mistakes in sentences that just threw me out and I really don't like that.

I enjoyed the second installment of this series. It tied in the previous characters nicely while not being too heavy handed with them.
And that final little twist at the end! Stunning! Didn't see that coming at all. Really enjoyed it and lookingforward to her next one.

As expected, Stephanie's writing style hasn't developed.
For a story based on a second life of someone, I would have expected a totally story. Start to finish. Unfortunetly, that's not what we get here. We come in late and minimal things are disclosed along the way, leaving much to be desired.
This truly came across as a quick money grab for me.
Having said that, it wasn't a complete waste of my time.

I didn't enjoy this book. It presented as a romantic fantsy, but I don't think it captured any of it.
The author used simple words to explain things like "magically locked the house" and "vamp speed" a lot and that frustrated me.
Also, in the "romantic" part, we had full sex scense, which I know can be difficult to portray sometimes, but these were mostly boring, or completely skipped.
While we're talking about romance, I didn't feel any form of relationship develop between characters, it was all rather basic. I think more time and effort should have gone into creating feelings and emotions throughout the book.

Another thing I had a problem with, was the amount of times the author used 'and' at the start of a scentance durring conversation. People don't talk like that. I understand she wanted to respond to the whole of what was previously said, but for some reason, it really irritated me the way it was written.

Lastly, we have the terrible final climax. Where the two main characters decide to enter a shop at the same time it was being held up.
I believe the author was trying to create a bond between them, but it just felt lazy. Things were tieing up, but she had to add something else that I don't think added any value to the story.

I don't think I'll be rushing to read any more from this author.

Beautiful! The characters developed so well. The story was very enjoyable and I thought the ending was perfect.
Really good read.
However, I'd loved to see more of these characters and their developing realtionships after this story. A book based on Jessica and Ben would be so interesting!

I throughtly enjoyed reading this. It was a very immersive read. I enjoy the writing style of this author, however, you lost me once Kya was arrested.
I'm not sure the author has a deep enough knowledge on court room behaviour, but it ruined the whole experience for me.

Additionally, I didn't enjoy the final chapter. Something just felt a little wrong about it.

I loved this book. From the frist page I was hooked for so many reasons.

I enjoyed the first half.
I'm not sure what happened, maybe the extensive time jumps, the single paragraphs about minor and major things, the fact that information from the start made little reference later, or just average writting made it disjointed.
I really struggled to get through this one.

Loved it. Looking forward to reading more from this Author.
