Always enjoy Jane's writing.
Such compelling stories with interesting characters.
I will just say, I wasn't fond of the ending, but I also didn't hate it.
Looking forward to her next one.

I had high hopes for this one, but it was not meant to be.
Some of the story was enjoyable, but I found most of it to be a tad boring.
The author continued to repeat information as though we'd just learnt it, which is what I'd expect from a series reminding the reader of previous events. That's not what this was though. It felt more like filler. We didn't need the second or third explanation, just the mention would have been sufficient.
I felt there were a few plot holes I couldn't get my head around, nothing I'll mention here for other readers sake. Things that just couldn't possibly connect.
I'm also dissapointed with the descriptions of locations, particularly towards the end. I didn't feel like I was seeing what the author had created.
Lastly, I didn't feel any emotional attachment to the characters. I was not heart broken for anyone, but I wish I had been.
This would have been a much better book if it was longer and contained significantly more details.

Not what I had expected. Interesting read all the same.
My Father's Keeper: The Children of the Nazi Leaders: An Intimate History of Damage and Denial
Norbert Lebert, Stephen Lebert
Not at all what I was expecting. Still and interesting read.
Good for a laugh. Few mistakes, but all in all not bad.
A string of policing stories that are sure to get a laugh.
Reccomend for anyone wanting to see the lighter side of police work.

Not the best book I've read.
However, the authors ability to write is commendable (I've had some horrific ones lately).
I was very disapointed with the ending though.
I'd have loved more detail about it, rather then two paragraphs that I had to re-read to make sure I was comprehending it correctly.

I enjoyed the first half, then completely lost interest. Having said that, it is a well written book.
